It may seem to you that every life does deserve to live, but not every case is about an amazing person that was killed, just like the case of Ryan Wilks, a 24 year old skater from the outskirts of Salt Pine who had moved here only a few years ago, which is the unsolved case we will be looking at today, at The Crimson Star we understand that people can eventually change, but not with a limited amount of time given, granted Ryan didnt know what he was getting himself into once he lost all of his friends and decided to join a local gang, The Devil Children knew that once you were in you could never get out, Ryan, unfortunately didnt get the memo. He was already in too deep with The Devil Children and there was no way out but death, and like we have mentioned previously, we investigate murders and presumed suicides so obviously this case does involve a murder. Ryan was an all right kid in school, but once he left college his life spiralled into angst, depression and then leading on to his gambling problem; his unfortunate problem lead to substance abuse, which is what ultimately killed his bank account so much that he had to move in with his cousin and then join one of the most vicious gangs in US history, Im sure it will appear on a final exam somewhere, my bet is on England and their shitty GCSE exams, holy cow are they difficult. From what Ive heard anyway, Ryan borrowed a lot of money from everybody, even stealing when his alcohol problem got too much for his credit card, but never was able to give the money back before he had died.

Although the scene of the murder was very private and in an enclosed area, people still managed to find out about the secluded place and the very horrific death, The Crimson Star newspaper didnt even report on it yet as we are keeping it on the downlow, this is because the police had said that we would actually be taken out of business, thus basically saying they would make a case out of our report; we decided to uncover this case for the better part of helping the public, they now know and so all we can do is solve this and go public with our dangerous knowledge. We come to you before any other publishing sites and newspapers, as we havent taken anyone into custody yet and cannot put any evidence in place that links to a perpetrator, thus giving us now indication yet as to who killed him, and what happened. We can tell you that we found Ryan hanging from a metal pole that was holding up one of the attractions at The Venus Amusement park just outside of Salt Pine, his blood had still been wet once we found him as he was still barely alive but holding on for dear life, mumbling a lot of random odd words that we have yet to place a meaning to but also said how he wanted to see his sister and say goodbye to his long lost parents even after they abandoned him at the same amusement park that he was found in, breathing but extremely close to death. This led us to tracking them down, his family went missing over 7 years ago and never got involved in their sons life after they had disappeared, but lucky enough for The Crimson Star newspaper we located his parents all the way in Canada. It was to be expected that they were so far away, but now we needed to get in touch with them about what had happened, although we are a newspaper report, we also work hand in hand with the police and because of this, it gives us an extra helping hand on what we can do and go the extra mile for the deceased.

We mentioned previously that Ryan had a sister, but when we uncovered his family history it was clear to us that his sister was on the file as deceased, so we also investigated into this death as well, and what we found was upsetting and distressing. Jessica Wilks, a 13-year-old girl who was brutally murdered by her best friend, in an attempt of sacrifice, her best friend, Elise. The anniversary of this death is only a few days away, which must be a very difficult time for their family, this implies for Ryan that he knew he was going to die when we arrived at his location, and just wanted to be with his sister again, like they used to be.

When we talked with The Wilks family they said that they left for England originally, but had a change of plans once their daughter passed away, and they left Ryan because he could manage by himself and it would be better if he stayed here- unknown to what they were putting him through once they left they thought he was fine until they got the call from the police about his death. Ryans family were wrong leaving him behind, but we couldnt change that, they just have to live with the idea that they killed their son. After we also spoke with the family we discovered that Ryan had also used anti-depressant medication which links to his depression, and also his anxiety meds that he had a history of overusing as the pharmacist mentioned, and In her own words, that asshole never stopped killing himself from the inside out making us believe that Ryan was struggling with substance abuse because he was trying to numb his feelings and get rid of the lack of control and power he had, which makes sense. But what doesnt make sense is why Amber Wilks, Ryans mother, believed that he had killed himself, because it was obvious in the autopsy report and the cause of death that he didnt attempt suicide. But what we can now admit is that we found evidence of The Devil Children slaughtering Ryan.

This case grew colder by the minute with all of the gang members that could have been the murderer, that was until we linked one of the side members to Ryan and his family. After this report goes online, we have already arrested the side member, Olivia Redding and her boyfriend, Ben Shewer for the death of Ryan Wilks, and they have both confessed and been given altogether 90 years in jail. This closed case was a difficult one to link to anyone, but nevertheless, we did it and we can go on to another soon.

That being said, we hope that no case can be closed without being solved, although we already know that they will, The Crimson star will be here to help and solve them to let the dead, rest in peace.
