Calum entered the coffee shop, the feeling of silenced cries took over him, sadness soon filled up his every emotion. He didn't want to be alone, he hated it. He felt guilty when they broke up, but then again, he didn't do anything that made her upset.

He was the one who walked in on her kissing another guy that day, he was the one who got upset about it, he was the one who yelled first. But he was the one who chased after her when she walked out.

It was her that gave up. Not Calum.

Autumn entered the coffee shop, feeling used and stupid. She hated it. Her mascara stained face made her look miserable. She tried to wipe the stain off of her face, which sort of worked, yet it also didn't. Michael gave her a sad and concerned look, "What happened?" he asked.

"I miss him. And I want to visit him, but then I'll cry some more when I get home. I don't want to cry." She said, sucking in a breath, letting a shaky one out after. Michael sighed, "You can't keep doing this to yourself, Autumn."

Autumn nodded, wiping her tears away, making her look even worse when the mascara stain smudged even more. Michael looked at her, "Do you want to get cleaned up?" he asked her. She shook her head, "No, I'm going to go back to my apartment soon." she said, giving Michael three dollars and he gave her the coffee that she usually gets.

Calum looked up, realizing that Autumn was leaving fast. She was already beginning to run as she tried to stop crying. Calum stood up, bidding Michael good-bye and running after her.

"Autumn! Wait!" He yelled. He was getting near her. "Autumn!" he yelled as loud as he could. He saw her turn to her right again at the end of the street, he sprinted. But he slowed down when he noticed her sitting on the curb, crying her eye's out. Her sobs and whispers could be heard. "I'm sorry." she repeated to nothing.

Calum looked at her, and he took a seat next to her. "Autumn. . ." he whispered, lifting her head up to face his. "Autumn, what happened?" he asked softly. She shook her head, looking back down. "Autumn, is it a sensitive topic?" he asked her. She looked at him, wiping her tears and standing up.

He stood up as well, towering over her. This was the first time they stood next to each other. They noticed their height difference, looking away soon after. "Autumn, what happened?" Calum asked softly.

She looked down at her shoes, "I lost him. And I hate it. It's all my fault. I hate myself for it." she said, beginning to cry soon after. Calum felt helpless, but he soon wrapped his arm's around her, feeling comfortable about it.

Autumn cried into his shoulder, sobbing. "I'm so broken. And people keep telling me that it's okay. But I know that it isn't. Nothing is okay. I'm not okay and I hate it." she cried. After a while, they were still in each other's arms. She heard Calum's faint word's,

"It's okay not to be."
