Calum went to the coffee shop the next morning, holding the small rose and card in his hand as he sat down in their usual table. He's been sitting here for at least an hour, just waiting for her to walk through those doors. After another thirty more minutes, Autumn showed up, but the look on her face made Calum feel strange. She had tears welding up in her eye's. She bit her lip, trying not to cry. Calum stoop up from his seat, bringing the rose with him.

"Calum? I thought you weren't gonna show up. Gosh, this is embarrassing." she breathed out, wiping her tears away as she spoke.

He looked at her, "Autumn, don't be embarrassed. It's okay to cry." he spoke. Autumn looked at him,

"No, no. It's not that. It's just. . . It's just that I look so trashy." she said, chuckling at the end of her sentence. He looked at her sincerely, "You're perfect to me." he smiled.

Autumn blushed, looking down. She heard Calum clear his throat, "Uhm, This is for you." he said, smiling as he held out the rose and the card attached to it. She looked up and smiled widely as she took it out of his hand's. "Thank you, Calum." she began reading it.

I adore you, and all the little things about you. And your height.

Autumn chuckled, "Ha ha, nice short joke." she smiled, rolling her eye's playfully. Calum smiled, he was happy she was smiling again. He then noticed Autumn's expression after he smiled.

"What?"

"Your smile reached you're eye's this time." she spoke.
