Autumn entered the coffee shop, smiling at Michael when she did. "You're here early." he smiled. Autumn nodded, smiling at him in return. "I couldn't sleep." she said, heading towards the counter. Michael's mouth formed into an 'o' shape as he nodded slowly. "The usual?" he asked. She nodded, "Yes, please." handing him the three dollars.

When she sat down at her usual table, Calum popped into her mind.

Calum's words echoed in her mind. She found himself wondering why he moved here, but she was interrupted when Calum sat down. "I didn't even know you were here." She spoke, smiling a little. Calum pouted, "I never knew I was that distant from you." he said, making Autumn chuckle.

After a while, silence fell over them. Autumn wanted to know the reason why Calum moved here, and each and every minute that passed by made her more impatient. "Calum, you never told me the reason you came here. . ." she trailed off, nervous of what he'd say. Calum looked at her, smiling.

"I was looking for something." he smiled softly at her. "Really?" Autumn asked. Calum nodded, "And I believed I found it but then I thought I lost it." he spoke. "What was it?" was all that came out of Autumn's mouth.

"Love, affection." he spoke. Then it hit Autumn. He was talking about his ex. She began to feel sad, and drained. "Oh." she spoke quietly. Calum noticed her sudden mood change, "But then I found it again." he smiled at her.
