The next morning, Autumn did in fact go to the coffee shop. She smiled at Michael, "Hey, Mikey. How are you?" she asked. Michael shrugged, "I'm doing fine. How about you?" he asked her. She shrugged, "Same old, same old." she chuckled. Be quiet, lier, her mind spoke. She went to the counter, ordering the usual. Michael made her drink, exchanging it with Autumn's three dollars.

Autumn sat alone at her usual table, sighing. Yesterday wasn't a good day for her, and she felt like shit today as well. She looked away when she saw Calum walking to the coffee shop, and she thought it was weird, considering she used to stare at him without looking away when he was near.

But the feeling she had when he sent her a smile made her feel weird. She looked back at him when he sat down, "Hey, Autumn. Why weren't you here yesterday?" he asked her. She shrugged, "I didn't feel well. But I'm doing okay now, I guess." she said, tucking the hair that fell in front of her face behind her ear. Calum admired it when she did that.

"I hope so." Calum spoke, smiling. Autumn rolled her eye's playfully. He began to smile wider now, and Autumn found it comforting. She smiled, "I like it when you smile like that."
