The week after, it was a Friday. Calum sat at the table he and Autumn would sit at. He looked out the window, in hopes to see Autumn, but to his dismay, she never walked through those doors. She didn't show up for an entire week. Sighing, he stood up, beginning to leave. "Bye, Michael. I'll see you again tomorrow." Calum said before exiting.

His eyebrow's were furrowed and he looked down at the ground as he walked, wondering why she hasn't been showing up so often. He then realized it all. She has been crying, and he's pretty damn sure that it wasn't just because she lost her boyfriend. She smiled at him yesterday, but he could tell it was already becoming weak. She seemed so drained- broken, even."No, no. That can't be." he said to himself. But it was hard to disbelieve all of it. "How. . ." he whispered. He shook his head, trying to get rid of those thoughts in his head. But the thought of her holding those pills in her hand consumed him. Soon, He found himself running to her apartment.

He saw her coming out, wiping a few tears away as she tried to calm herself down. "Autumn!" he called for her. She looked at him, "Calum?" she whispered. She cursed under her breath, starting to fast walk the other way. He called her name again, beginning to run towards her when he noticed that she was already running away from him. When he caught up to her, he grabbed her left hand with his right and he turned her around.

"Autumn, what are you doing?" he asked. She shrugged, trying to act casual. "I have to be somewhere. I can't talk right now." she spoke, already turning around and starting to walk away. Calum took two long strides and turned her around again. "Where?" he asked her. She looked at him, "The hospital." she spoke. "Why?" Calum asked. "I'm visiting my best friend's mum." she said. When will you ever tell him the truth?, her thought asked her.
