The next day, Autumn sat in her seat at her usual table, next to the window. She sat there, listening to the silence in the coffee shop. Every thing was doing laps in her mind, replaying over and over again. Most of all, the fact that Calum felt something strong towards her frightened her. She didn't like the feeling of hating being loved again. Yes, she tried to date a few months after the accident, but all the guys she's dated wasn't right for her. They were sweet and kind and funny, but it never compared to her boyfriend. But now that she met Calum, everything is different.

She didn't want him to love her, yet her heart is begging her to let him. She didn't like herself for multiple reasons, and she didn't understand why she began to hate herself. It was all so sudden. Hating herself, not eating properly, her boyfriend getting in an accident, and Calum. She sighed, it's been thirty minutes and he hasn't shown up.

Autumn stood up, bid her goodbye to Michael, and exited the coffee shop. "Maybe he had to do something." she said to herself. She then heard fast footsteps coming her way, her name being called. "Autumn! Wait up!"

She turned around, and noticed that Calum held a small rose. "Here." he breathed out, smiling slightly as he handed the flower to her.

"Why did you get me this?"

"Reason number one to appreciate yourself."

Written on the card of the flower was a sentence that Autumn couldn't help but smile at.
