Calum entered the coffee shop, and he sat at Autumn's table, waiting for her. He looked out the window, his usual vanilla bean in his hands. He heard the door opening, and the sound of her voice.

"Hi, Michael." Autumn said. Michael sent her a smile, "Hey, Autumn." he replied. Autumn looked around the coffee shop as Michael began to make her usual drink. Nothing has changed. The place itself hasn't changed, and Autumn was grateful for it. She handed Michael the three dollars and went to her table and sat across from Calum.

He sent her a smile, "Hey, Autumn." he said when she sat down. Autumn smiled back, realizing his accent. "Are you tired? You seem like you haven't slept in ages." Calum spoke.

Autumn chuckled, "It feels like it too." Calum sent her the usual smile that never reached his eye's, "I haven't slept a lot either." he spoke, beginning a conversation. "Not to be rude or anything, but why do you sound like that when you talk?" Autumn asked hesitantly.

Calum chuckled, "I'm from Australia." he said, smiling. Autumn's mouth formed into an 'o' shape, "Oh. Sorry." She said shyly, raising her shoulder's as she did so. Calum smiled, "It's fine. Don't worry about it, Autumn." he said.

"Why did you move here then? There's nothing fantastic here." Autumn spoke after a while. Calum looked at her and smiled, "There was nothing there either." he spoke.

"I beg to differ."

"I'll tell you the real reason why I moved here soon." Calum said. Autumn sighed and nodded, "Okay." she smiled.
