Sixteen

Jin's P.O.V

I stood at the balcony staring at my phone. She texted me, how could she? Why does she want to talk to me? Aren't we over yet? Is there still something left that she needs to tell me? Moreover, do I even want to listen to her? I don't think so. I just stared at the precise text she sent me.

"Meet me at our favourite café at 4"

Should I go? But what if Serena sees us? Am I ready to risk it all? Is she in trouble? These questions kept bugging me so I decided that I would go and end it forever. I don't want to face her ever again. I don't want to be meeting with my ex behind my wife's back. It's so unethtical. So I texted her an 'ok' and went to get dressed as I was still in my pajamas. Serena was at her class and she won't be back till 8. I quickly got dressed, took my car keys and off I went to the desired location.

As I entered the café, I realised there were less people and I saw her sitting at a table in the middle. She noticed my presence and waved at me. I walked towards the table and sat down. "Hey, Jin. It's been a while since we met." She flashed a sweet smile but I stayed neutral. "Yeah right, after you left me without saying anything and then coming back with someone else." I taunted at her. She froze at my harsh words but stayed calm. "Jin, this is the reason I wanted to talk to you." "Speak." I was getting angrier and angrier. "Jin, before I left you. I was pregnant with our child." She looked me in the eyes and this time I froze at her words. "W-what?!!! Why did you not tell me?!" I was starting to lose my temper. How could she? "It's because I didn't want the child as I had studies to complete and other goals to achieve so I got rid of it in the earlier weeks and fled away to America so I don't-"
"So you don't have to fucking face me and build up the courage to tell me that you have murdered our child. Byul, I loved you! I fucking put all my trust in you, only to hear this bullshit. Oh God! I'm so done." I stood up in anger. "No! Please sit down there's more to this than what you perceived." She was starting to tear up so I forced myself to sit and hear another bullshit of hers. "My mother, she hated you. She wanted me to marry her cousin's friend. He was the son of the CEO of the biggest company in Seoul. But I refused and I told her that I was expecting your child. She got angry and forced me at first to get rid of it. At first I was not agreeing but later I felt like if I gave birth to it right now I won't be able to focus on my studies. I'm sorry Jin. I should've told you, I should've asked for your advice but my mother took my phone away and forced me to go to America and I did as she said." She was now weeping and wiping her tears away. "Whatever you told me doesn't matter anymore. I love my wife more than anyone and I don't want you to be around her brother too. He doesn't deserve a liar like you." I spat and stood up to leave. "Hoseok and I are getting married soon and I don't think he would leave me." Her voice was ice cold. "Sure, after he knows your filthy truth he would never marry, you mark my words." "Oh really babes? Why are you so jealous?" She came near me, standing just few inches away from me. "Why the fuck would I be jealous?" I spat at her and taking a step back but she suddenly hugged me out of nowhere. "I'm sorry Jin. I'm so so sorry! I never wanted this to happen but I was a fool and I admit it." She wasn't letting me go so I struggled my way out, gently pulling myself away from her. "Good. If you truly love Hoseok then I have no problem with it. Just stay away from me and my wife. I hate you now, more than anything and I don't want her to know that her brother's girlfriend holds such a dark past." I went towards the door and exited the café. Good thing, there weren't much people and due to the mask no one recognised me. I got inside the car and drove off towards my house.

Third person's P.O.V

After he left she immediately wiped her tears and a devilish smirk was plastered on her face. "What are you gonna do when your pretty little wife sees these photos of us. Me in your arms. Ahhh! Such a stupid man he is." She giggled and slid the photos inside her purse. "You dare call me a liar? I wanted to call you and tell you everything but you would've laughed it off. So I had to risk it. I had to find another way. I knew you trusted me but you deserted me. You left me because of your stupid duties. You ignored me all the time, giving me lame excuses. So I won't let you be happy as well." She smiled victoriously and thought about the lie she made about her and Hoseok's marriage. They weren't even together anymore. She politely told him not to tell anyone so soon and asked him to act like good friends and him being a gentleman did the same. She knew he would get angry and sad seeing her in Jin's arms but that was the part of her plan. She wanted him to get angry at Jin and since he loved his sister so much he might break their relationship. She was now feeling satisfied and content. Jin... you're gonna be mine again, I promise.
