So yeah. A typical and normal afternoon with my favorite bros and boyfriend. Or that's what I thought...
It all started when we were just sitting on the couch. Adorabat eating her snacks, me sleeping on Mao Mao's lap as he shines his sword, careful not to accidentally hurt me, and Badgerclops eating some more snacks.
An soft alarm went off in the house, but it wasnt the usual monster alarm or King Alarm we get. But more like a regular phone one.
When it went off, I jolted up awake from Mao's lap and almost fell off the couch, and maybe that's because Adorabat screamed out, "THE MONSTER ALARM!"
When the three of us, excluding Mao Mao, looked at the monster alarm, it was beeping with its loud noise that we're used to.
My attention went to Mao's face, which was a worried and anxious one. "Honey, is... something wrong?" I asked him as Adorabat asked, "Is that a different alarm?"
Mao Mao stood up and began to walk to his office. "Oh don't worry about that guys! I-It's just our home phone... I'd better... take this."
He entered the said room and blew some dust from the phone and picked it up, answering the person's call. Me and the rest of us followed behind Mao and listened to his conversation.
"Hello?... Oh hey mom. What?... Father, he-?... Oh. This is so sudden... Y-Yes, of course okay... Y-Yeah, you too. Bye." Mao finished and took the phone down, ending his call. Assuming that was his mom he was talking to.
"Is.. uhh, everything okay over there?" Badgerclops asked awkwardly to Mao Mao, seeing him with a sadden look.
"Should we be concern about this Mao?" I asked, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. Mao looked up at us and then replied, "Oh uhh... Its just that my father, he's..."
Mao paused for a second and said, "Coming to visit."
"W-Wait, your FATHER? Like THE most legendary member in the Mao clan?" I asked, shaking my head in shock. The bros looked at me in confusion.
"I've been paying attention to Mao Mao's stories, so deal with it." I said to Adorabat and Badgerclops in a blank tone. Mao Mao sighed and nodded his head, "Yes. He's coming to our bas-"
Before Mao could finish, there was a loud pound on the front door along with a booming voice. "Where are you son? You aren't in this playhouse, are you?"
The four of us came to the door as Badgerclops shook in fear, "I hope it's not a daddy, daddies FREAK me out!" I just gave a "What?..." look to him and glued my eyes back at the door.
Half of the door eventually broke and revealed a tall looking cat that is somewhat similar to Mao Mao, in a large golden suit of armor. "Oh! They dont make doors like they used to. Haha!" The large cat laughed and entered our home.
