I turn, watching as the principal motions me to come into his office.
I follow him, my nerves slightly bad as I don't know why I'm here.I mean he can't really call home since my parents are dead, and I have no other relatives besides my grandmother.
When he sits down I take a seat in one of the chairs in front of his desk, my legs slightly bouncing up and down in nervousness. He looks at some random files in his hands, before his gaze turns to me.
"Jungkook, do you know about the soulmate group club?"
I deflated.I don't like where this is going.
"Yes, and I don't want to join. I don't want a soulmate." I say to him, but he laughs, his smile somehow making me want to smile, but I push that feeling down."Son, I used to be just like you. I never wanted a soulmate, hell I hated them, wanting to love someone for myself. That was until I met my wife. You could chose to love whoever, but that person 90% will turn out to be your soulmate, with or without you knowing."
"What about the other ten percent?"
I ask him, now slightly curious.
"Those are the people who don't have soulmates, those people are rare. They don't have any kind of soulmate sign on them, so they love whoever."I deflated.
Damn, I hate this stupid mark on my face.
"Anyway, the soulmate group club is for people who don't want soulmates, haven't found theirs yet, or don't have any. The club is for people to talk about their soulmate struggles, and I want you to join.""I don't want to. You can't force me, I'm a legal adult and I don't have any parents that you can ask." I say, making him chuckle.
"I put you in the club. It lasts till the end of the year, and if you don't attend, it'll affect your grades."
"What?!!" I say with gritted teeth.
"I'm sorry Jungkook, but this is for your own good. I know what happened to you since I'm your mother's brother, and I know you don't consider me family, but please, please just do this one thing. I want to help you."My uncle was practically pleading, so I turned my head away, my bottom lip in between my teeth as my eyes watered.
Once I got myself together, I turned back to him, a regretful expression on my face.
"I'll do it."
He smiles, he smiles widely, getting up and hugging me, making my heart feel warm slightly.I lightly smiled, but it quickly went away when he let go, letting him see my face.
"Thank you Jungkook. You can now go to your next class, or whenever you're supposed to go.
I'll give you a pass just in case if you missed something, ok?""Sure." I say, not really finding it necessary. I mean, we're not in high school.
He gives it to me and I shove it into my pocket, turning around and walking out of his office without a word.I pass Mr. Kim on my way out, and I can't help but glance at him through the corner of my eye.
I don't know what this feeling is, but it needs to go away, and quickly.\|/
