5 days before hell

Jimin got out of his car and ran into the building frantically. He fished his ID out of his back pocket and showed it to the lady at the front desk of the kindergarten.

"And what are you here for? Are you picking up your child early, or are you-,"

"Daddy!" The little boy ran up to his dad and hugged him tightly.

"Sunji oh gosh what did you do?" Jimin bent down to his level and the teacher came up behind him.

"He hit another child in the face and bruised him." Jimin looked up at the lady and pointed at his son.

"I asked my son what he did I didn't ask you." He picked him up and asked him again. "What did you do Sunji?"

"He bit me daddy. And I hit him back." Jimin glanced over at the teacher.

"Where did he bite you baby?" Sunji lifted up the sleeve of his shirt and showed the horrid bit mark on his arm.

"I'm so sorry Mr.park I didn't know-,"

"You need to tame your animal." A lady in heels came up to them carrying a boy in her hand who had a band-aid on his cheek.

"Excuse me? He bit my son first I think the real animal is your child. My son only did what I taught him to do when he's messed with." He hugged Sunji close.

"Well, he had to be doing something for my child to bite him." She says looking away. The boy in her hand momentarily stuck his tongue out at Sunji who did nothing but cuddle his head into his father's chest.

"Sunji is this one of the kids that bully you?" Sunji nods and the lady gasped.

"Now he's accusing my angel of bullying. I can't do this." The lady says.

"Me neither." Jimin snapped he turned to Sunji's teacher and looked her up and down. "I'll be coming for his transcript tomorrow he will no longer be attending this school." Jimin quickly grabbed his bag from the teacher's hand and left the school, heading to his car.

There he strapped Sungji into his car seat and angrily got in his car. He drove away angrily completely forgetting the fact he had run out on his job.

"Daddy are you mad at me?" Jimin looked in the rare view mirror and frowned.

"Of course not baby it's my fault I should've found you a new school a long time ago. I was just trying to save money to get you to private school but I've just had to put you in another public school for now." He says soothingly.

He watches as Sunji pouted as he'd have to change schools again.

"Hey... do you want ice cream?" He says the boy perks up.

"Before dinner?" Jimin nods. He hums excitingly and Jimin stops at the ice cream shop quickly. He gets Sunji out and headed in.

"Ok baby tell him what you want." Sunji pointed the flavors and Jimin paid. He took him to a seat where he can eat peacefully.

"Daddy, didn't you have work?" Jimin looked down at his work apron and cursed to himself.

"Yes but you're more important." At that, his phone ring and his boss flashed across the screen. He answered with a respectful voice but his boss did not return the energy.

"Park Jimin that was your final chance you're fucking fired." The call was seen by a mile away, he wasn't as upset as he thought he'd be.

"Thank you for putting up with me. Your pay was shit anyways." He hung up put his phone on the table and ran his hand through his hair.

"Did we lose money again daddy?" Jimin looked up at his son and smiled for him so he wouldn't see how stressed his father was.

"Just a little. But the good news is we're so close to getting a new apartment." He lied just for the benefit of keeping his son happy.

"I can't wait." He says excitedly. Jimin smiles and wipes the corner of his mouth.

"Me either." He mumbles.

Jimin opened his apartment door as Jungkook stood there with some alcohol. He let go of a deep sigh and took the bottle while letting him in.

"Uncle kookie!" Sunji ran to him and gave him a hug. Jungkook picked him up and smiled.

"Hey, big guy how are you?" Sunji gave him a thumbs up and he handed him some candy he bought for him.

"What do we say?" Jimin says patting his hair.

"Thank you uncle Kookie!" He says. Jungkook gave him a fist bump and Jimin took the candy away.

"It's nearly 10 pm I know you're not going to school but you still have to have a good sleep schedule so come on go brush your teeth." Sunji hopped down from Jungkook's arms and ran to the bathroom where he brushed his teeth.

"He's not going to school? What happened?" Jungkook said worriedly.

"He hit a kid that had been bullying him but the teacher disciplined him instead. I'm tired of him coming home and crying to me about his bullies." Jimin walked into the kitchen and took down two wine glasses.

Jungkook could see the stress on his face, it was more than just Sunji.

"Come on Jimin what else is wrong." Jimin began to pour the alcohol in the glass and sighed heavily tilting the rest to his head.

"Daddy I'm ready to be tucked in." Sunji says. Jimin set the bottle down and tucked him in. Within five minutes he closed the door to his room and looked at Jungkook with teary eyes.

"Come here," Jungkook says. Jimin didn't hesitate to hug him while sobbing softly.

"I-I got fired because I had to get Sunji. What am I going to do? All I have is my bartending job on the weekends. Jungkook his custody case is in a month." He cries even harder.

"I don't have a stable job our apartment is shitty and he's not in school I'm going to lose my baby to his mom."  The other brought Jimin to the sofa where he soothed him.

"I'm his godfather right? Let me help. Whatever you have to pay off for rent wherever you want him to go to school I have it under control." He offers. "The pay at my job is good I have no problem helping anywhere." Jimin took a deep breath and looked up.

He hated when Jungkook catered to him but now he had no choice. He was close to losing his apartment and even closer to losing his son.
