Second day of hell

The day had gone by quickly and now Jungkook and Jimin enjoyed some plain bagels for lunch with coffee.

"How'd that dinner go yesterday with Yoongi and his daughter?" Jimin scoffs and puts the bagel down.

"Horrible we got kicked out because his daughter was beating up some random kid. She's a very independent girl and she's amusing. She was doing it because the kid was trying to steal Sunji's arcade card." Both him and Jungkook laughed almost hysterically getting attention from people in the cafe.

"I need to start teaching Sunji self-defense skills, to be honest, he's a soft kid," Jimin says with a small pout on his face.

"You're the one who promotes no violence to him all the time, the most he's ever done is hit that one kid who bit him." Jimin agrees and takes another bite of the bagel.

"Right, He says she 'got it' from him because he used to get into a lot of fights in school he thinks it's a genetic trait or something." Jimin giggles and Jungkook narrows his eyes.

"You like him don't you?" Jimin then chokes on the iced coffee and tried to hide his blush by wiping his face.

"Maybe a little... I mean he's made a move on me and flirts with me plus he's charming how can I not." Jungkook nods as Jimin rarely had crushes. "Not you talking about me. Jin talked about you non stop earlier." Jungkook chuckled.

"Yeah, we had dinner yesterday. He's a nice guy one glass of wine and he was being himself. He makes horrible jokes that's so bad they turn out to be funny and he's blunt but I like that" Jimin agrees.

"Aww but you sound like you have a crush too. how cute." Jimin smiles.

"Bet your ass I do." Jungkook takes the last bite of his crossiant and chokes when he sees someone enters the cafe. "Shit... Fuck." He curses. Jimin furrows hia eyebrows and looked to where he was looking and make's an o with his lips.

"What is he doing out of his office?" Jimin whispers.

"I don't fucking know he's hardly ever out until late." Jungkook whispers back. He order something from the line and ends up seeing both Jungkook and Jimin sitting there.

"Shit." Jimin curses.

"Mr. Kim, Hey enjoying lunch i see." Jungkook says trying to open a comfortable conversation.

"yeah but... why are you enjoying lunch?" He says with a confused look on his face.

"Umm excuse me?" Jungkook says.

"Last time I checked im missing a shit ton of work from a few people in your team... Marketting right?" Jungkook gulps and nodded. "Yeah Maybe you should be eating lunch at your desk before I fire your whole team." Jungkook bows and apologizes while getting up. "Matter of fact until everything is in my email or on my desk you cant go home. benefits of being team leader am i right?" Jungkook smiles sarcastically and walks away. Jimin avoids eye contact but felt his boss's hand on his shoulder.

"I need you to stay two hours extra today I have a meeting and I need someone there to take notes."

"S-sir you'd have to tell me in advance i have a son-" Taehyung snaps his head towards him and cocks his head to the side.

"Pardon me? you're already talking back and you havent even reieved your first pay check. You have balls don't you?" Jimin took a deep breath as he can feel his ears heating up. Taehyung smirks and fixes Jimin's collar.

"Look... Youre new to my company. I like seeing new faces... But don't make me hate this pretty face of yours so soon." Taehyung tapped his chin and walked off then turned around. "Carry these for me my fingers are tired from typing." he shoved a paper bag and a bottle of water at him and when he turned around Jimin flicked him off.

What was supposed to be two hours turned into four. Jimin did not see this coming and currently he was running out of his car and towards the mansion. When he knocked the door it was opened to Yoongi who looked exhausted.

"Hey, he wont stop crying I tried everything I could." Yoongi says "Sunji daddy's here."Jimin could hear the small footsteps and a sad Sunji emerged from the door with his backpack.

"Oh baby daddy's so sorry." he whispered while bending down and giving him a hug. Sunji didn't hesitate to hug his father back, wrapping his arms and legs around him and laid his head on his shoulder.

"I'm so sorry daddy was just busy with his new job." He rubbed his back and Sunji nodded. "He had me take notes at a long ass meeting - excuse my launguage baby." Yoongi chuckled.

"Welcome to Kim Taehyung. He didn't eat dinner because he wouldn't eat anything until he saw you or knew you were ok." Jimin nods and glanced at the watch on his wrist that read 9pm.

"Ok thank you so much again. Jimin bows while holding Sunji close to his chest. And walked away from the front lawn.

"I thought you left me daddy." Sunji mumbled while Jimin strapped him in his car seat.

"No no never in a million years. You'll always be with me."  He says with a frown.

"You promise you won't give me to mommy forever?" Jimin could feel his heart break because he couldn't really promise him that. He bit his lip to stop himself from crying and held out his pinky.

"Daddy promises he won't ever give you to mommy forever. He would never let that happen." Jimin gave him a kiss on his forehead and Sunji held his pinky.

The ride home was silent as the boy fell asleep in the back seat. Once he got home he woke him up and he showered falling asleep again as soon as he was done.

The apartment seemed unusually cold so Jimin went to change the temperature on the thermostat only find out it was broken on a cold temperature. He cursed and went into his room grabbing extra blankets and putting them on Sunji.

He put on some sweatpants and a sweater and opened his phone immediately searching for apartments. Halfway through his search his phone rang and he picked it up.

"Hey how are you?" He heard over the line.

"Horrible. I had to make Yoongi pick up Sunji and he cried the whole four hours because he thought I was leaving him. Now the thermostat is broken it's not even like it was broken on a warm temperature it's freaking 18 degrees Celsius I need to get out of here now." He says stressfully. "I was just looking at apartments I'm using my next few paychecks to move out of this hell hole I saved up enough to start looking."

"I can help you look. I just got home and I feel like throwing my toaster in my bathtub... while I'm in there." He jokes and Jimin agrees.

"Would you? I'm looking for something in or extremely near the city it would be an easier rout to work and Sunji's school." Jungkook hums.

"Sounds good wanna live with me in the meanwhile? It gets lonely here ya know." Jimin rolled his eyes with a laugh.

"You need to focus on you Jungkook. Settle down and stop making people think we're married or something and you have a son, it takes a tole on your love life." He says with a laugh.

"Yeah Im actually planning on taking Jin on a date on Saturday. I wont lie i did get a few questions from him about you. He says because he has a past of being cheated on. I explained we're strictly bestfriends." Jimin frowned.

"Hm I told him we were so I wonder why he wouldn't believe me." He trails off.

"Well at the same time he was a bit tipsy do don't hold it against him alright? I'll be searching for apartments and I'll give you a list of things tomorrow ok? I love you." Jimin smiled softly.

"I love you too."
