 10th day of hell

The alarm clock blared in his ear as he turned around and slammed it off. He groaned in his pillow and forced himself to sit up in the large bed. It was just another day with the same routine.

Wake up at 5 am to jog, be back by 5:30 to do abb work out and by be done by 7 to shower and leave for work in which he'd leave late and come home to make a meal for now, maybe get some sports in then go right back to sleep. It was boring.

His house was huge and the decor was expensive and rare, the walls were plain white and the furniture, black and gold.

He hated it.

He hated how empty his house was. It was so empty and deafening he could hear the mailman when he arrives to put mail in his mailbox outside his gate. After he showered, he heard the drip of water from the pipe in his movie room downstairs.

The only audible noise in the house was when he had the television on or when the air conditioner ran which was mostly in the afternoon when he wasn't home.

He quickly put on his clothes to work out. He started with his 30-minute jog which usually resulted in about a 3 and a half-mile jog. Then after he went back home to go to his workout room where he spent his time with loud energetic music playing in his earbuds.

Once he was done he showed up and put on one of his many suits to head to work. The morning traffic was the worst part of his day. Soon he arrived at work and as usual once he stepped onto his floor to see his secretaries bowing at him.

"Good morning Mr. Kim." They both said. He nodded curtly and walked into his office after lingering on Jimin for a bit longer.

Jimin was an interesting character to him. Which was why he always provoked him. The door knocked and he responded. Jimin opened the door and placed a cup of coffee on it.

"Do you need anything else... Mr. Kim?"  He mocked. Taehyung laughed and looked up from his desk.

"Some printer paper will do, and when you come back we need to discuss the trip." Jimin gives him a tight grin and leaves the room. The words he muttered to his friend the night at the bar was nothing short of the truth.

Jimin was almost the epitome of his mother in certain ways. It scared him a but. But it also pressured him to hire Jimin. He knew what it was to have a struggling parent and watch everyone around you come from families with enough financial support.

A sound pinged on his monitor and he opened the email.

Kim Namjoon

Kimenterprices.SK.

Dude, what's up with that one company? CoPark? What are they doing and why are they coming to the meeting next weekend? I thought they died down?

Taehyung furrows his eyebrows. He hated that company with a burning passion. He didn't know much about the CEO except he was an old hag with no heirs. He was about to reply when Jimin walked in with the paper. he loaded it into the printer and sat down on the chair by his desk.

"Go on." He smiles sarcastically.

"Well, for starters. You're going to need more than just that." He pointed to his outfit and Jimin felt a bit offended. "There's nothing wrong with it it's just too simple for where we're going." He sips the coffee on his desk.

"So... what am I going to wear? it's a business meeting not the inauguration of the president." Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Just something that's not what you're wearing right now. Since you'll be working for two extra days you can take two days off preferably next Thursday and next Friday, in the evening we meet up at my place." Jimin nods and smiles.
