25th day of hell
Monday came around quickly after a weekend of decorating, packing, and buying. The furniture delivered to his house yesterday and they just needed to be unwrapped. He wanted to be in the house by Sunday.
"Hey love, ready? his meeting is like in thirty minutes do you want to grab some coffee?" Jimin shook his head while twirling a pen in his hand.
When Taehyung walked into the office he told them he was having a meeting in the downstairs conference room. It wasn't mandatory for them to attend but they wanted to.
"No, it's ok." He smiled and looked down at the computer with the schedule he was supposed to
Be writing up. Jimin couldn't help but realize his schedule only went up to next week Thursday. Normally he'd always make type it up until Friday. Even though he hadn't been working for him for that long it looked unusual to see the Friday slot unavailable. Everything after that was blank. He emailed it to him and printed out a copy. He knocked on his door and there was a come in.
"I printed your schedule since it's not much. But there's a copy in your email." Taehyung took it from him and thanked him. He stood there as if waiting for Taehyung to say something weird.
"Is there anything else Jimin?" Jimin looked up.
"O-ohhhhh umm. Nothing just why did it only go up to next Thursday-," his office phone rang and he held up a finger while picking up the phone.
"I'll see you at the meeting I need to do something important before it." He got up and left the office and Jimin rolled his eyes. He walked out of the office as well and Jin sighed.
"You know you've been acting funny ever since I said Taehyung was leaving."
"Pfft, what?" Jimin says with a nervous chuckle. Jin folds his arm and looked at him teasingly.
"Ok ok I'm a little upset but it's just weird to me." Jin laughed and sat down to work. A few more minutes passed and they went downstairs to the conference room where quite a few people already sat or stood.
"Good morning everyone." Some bowed and others returned the words. "Sorry for the sudden meeting It's just really important." He says.
"So after some thinking last week I made a pretty rash decision. I'm not going to beat around the bush so I'm leaving for New York by next week." People gasped and others whispered.
"I would never make my life decision affect any of you so of course My partner Min Yoongi will be monitoring this building and Jungkook if he's up for the promotion." Everyone turned to Jungkook who was all the way in the back choking on his coffee. It was dead silent and all that could be heard was Jin's excited clapping. Which calmed down when Jimin reminded him it probably wasn't the best time.
"It will only be for a year though." Some part of Jimin felt like a weight of 200 pounds was lifted off his shoulder. But there were still 300 pounds more.
"I just want to increase my ties with people in the states and go there for my own personal life." Everyone understood. Some people were happy their dickhead boss was leaving but others, More specifically Jimin, couldn't find it within him to be happy when he should be.
"If there aren't any questions then this is it enjoy the rest of your workday." He got up and Jungkook chased after him as he left the office.
"Taehyung-Mr.Kim. My bad umm I- I don't think I can handle all these people you know I was made for my small group in marketing." He walked with Taehyung who was moving fast.
"I'm helping you with Jimin's surprise birthday party help me with my business." Jungkook wondered why in fucks name he was taking the stairs but ignored it.
