28th day of hell

Though it was Thursday Jimin felt like this week should hurry up and be over. He'd been avoiding Taehyung since Tuesday. Going into the bathroom when he arrived, giving everything to Jin when he needed him to sign anything. He wasn't up for it.

"Ok I can't stay late today I'm supposed to help Jungkook with something." Jin signs out of his computer and stands up.

"Oh with what? I won't mind coming" he was getting ready to sign out when Jin places his hand on his shoulder.

"Stay. It's something between me and him and you should probably talk to him." He gestured his head towards his office door and Jimin sighed.

"Have I been coming between you and Jungkook's time together too much?" He whined and facepalmed.

"What? No-No! It's not like that. That hasn't even crossed either of our minds." He says. In all honesty, he was supposed to help Jungkook pick Jimin's car and it was obvious he wasn't supposed to be there.

"Ok ok, I'll just wait it out my last thirty minutes have fun." He says. Jin hums and leaves the office quickly. Jimin glances at the office door and looks back at the computer. He figured since tomorrow was Friday he'd get some work done for tomorrow so he can leave early.

Soon the thirty minutes passed and he got up. As soon as he does so Taehyung's office door opened.

Fucking great.

Jimin basically ran for the elevator but Taehyung made it in time. And now they were stuck in the elevator alone together.

"I umm hear Saturday is your birthday. You can leave work half early if you'd like tomorrow." Jimin clutches his phone in his hand and glanced at Taehyung.

Though he wore the same hairstyle and a suit like he'd normally wore Jimin gawked.

He was so handsome.

"I was planning on it either way." He folds his arms over his chest. An elevator ride had never felt so long. "You're leaving work early." Jimin mumbles. He hums.

"Can we talk? I tried Tuesday but Yoongi came in-,"

"My son just got done with piano practice. So not this evening." Taehyung felt defeated and Jimin felt bad.

"Ok then lunch tomorrow?" Jimin wanted to crack a smile. He was making an effort and not stopping until he got his answer.

"Ok fine. But after lunch, I'm leaving work." He leaves the elevator as it opened and Taehyung did a sigh of relief before he left the elevator himself.

"Oh, and can you maybe convince Jungkook to help run the business while I'm gone." Jimin's little flame of hope was put out with a bucket of ice-cold water.

"It's his decision. If he doesn't then he doesn't." He walked into the parking lot where he takes out his keys and quickly gets into his car.

"He's just fucking avoiding me you think it was easy to catch him in the elevator?!" Taehyung says as Yoongi spoke to him on the phone. 

"No, but the point is you caught him and he leaves work soon so have a fun lunch. I've gotta spend time with Mimi today so I'll see you later?" Taehyung hummed and yoongi hung up. He sighed and stood up out of his chair while grabbing his jacket.
