You inspire me. You've taught me how to pull myself up by my bootstraps and make myself what I want to be as a person in this world.
Your ideas are crazy to me. Even though we dont agree on a lot, I still love you no matter what.
One time you had called me after work. Said you had almost died in your drill at work that day and you were crying. I never see you cry.
You said that you just were happy to know Mason and I were taken care of. And that your life insurance should take care of things for a while.
You were saying this as you had yourself a drink. I don't blame you after something like that. You were stressed and needed an escape for a bit and that's okay.
What isn't okay is telling your Thirteen year old child how and when you wanted to end your life.
You're amazing though. Dealing with memory loss from a coma, dealing with abuse from family, dealing with mom...
You're so lucky that you've found a lady as wonderful as my Stepmom. You two match each other on all fronts and that's something I strive for one day.
You're a lucky one dad. And I know you'd tell me "it's not about luck" but this time, I think it is.
