Ayusin mo Sophie Harriete! Hindi ba ito naman ang gusto mo. Bakit ka ngayon kinakabahan?

I stood in front of the barista that caught everyone's attention. Pilit kong inuulit-ulit ang order ko sa aking utak para hindi ako magstutter.

Iced latte, grande.

Iced latte, grande.

Feeling ko tuloy isa akong manok na pinipilit dumaan sa isang wire. Ang out of place, noh? Yeah totally! That's me right now.

"May I take your order, miss?" I stood there na parang isang estatwa. Oh my gosh! Ano ba kasi itong iniisip ko? Bakit gusto ko ng adventure in the first place? Things really get out of hand kapag wala kang ginagawa.

But then again, life is short.

I cleared my throat.

"One iced latte grande..." ngumiti ito at nagpipipindot na sa cash register and took a cup.

"Name please?"

I nervously smiled in front of him. Confident din naman siyang nagsmile sa akin. My goodness, my legs are shaking. Sige patulan mo na yung idea mong ito, Sophie!

"Yours..."

His confusion is visible. Kitang kita ko ang pagkunot ng noo niya at unti-unting napatingin sa akin.

"Excuse me?"

Gusto kong matawa at umalis at the same time! Ano ba naman kasi ang idea of adventure ko na magkaroon ng instant boyfriend just like in the movies na nakikita ko? Just like Before Sunrise, nagkaroon siya ng jowa noong pumunta lang siya ng Vienna. Malay natin sa totoong buhay, magkatotoo right? It's really an adventure no one really asked for except for my bored self!

I leaned forward sa kanya.

"Yours..." I smiled na parang walang bukas. In fairness, masakit na ang panga ko kakagawa nito. I glanced on his nameplate na bigla niya namang tinakpan.

Wow ah?

Well, ang creepy nga naman nitong ginagawa ko. I thought to myself. I'll just drop this freaking idea! Tama na, kalokohan Sophie! Isa kang malaking joke!

Isa ka talagang malaking joke kasi hindi ka marunong mag flirt. Kadiri ka, Sophie you look like a creep!

Mabilis kong inayos ang posture ko mula sa kanya. Hindi ko naman na siya makikita siguro dahil never na ako pupunta dito. Nakakahiya talaga!

"I mean...yura."

"Oh, okay!" He got back to his senses as well. Ang professional naman nito. Of course, what would you expect Sophie? He is on his job?

I left his presence instantly and realized noong pagkabalik ko sa aking upuan kung gaano ako namumula! My goodness! I was too obvious sa kahihiyang ako naman ang gumawa. Grabe.

I was about to record myself ng biglang tawagin na ang order ko.

"One iced latte grande for Yura!"

I rolled my eyes for a sec, yeah bigla akong nabaptize all over again by the name of Yura.

"Thank you."

Mabilis akong bumalik sa inuupuan ko as I sip my coffee and record what I just have done. I was in the middle of my recording when suddenly my very clumsy self noticed na nagspill yung coffee ko sa palda ko because it was being tilted way too low. Kinuha ko ang tissue and started wiping it when suddenly I noticed ink stains.

Ink stains in my tissue.

"What the hell?"

Mabilis kong tinanggal ang tissue from the wet part of my skirt. Bahala ng mag amoy kape! But what the hell is this? May nakasulat sa brown tissue na hawak hawak ko and I need to see it!

I got my pamaypay from my bag and as quickly as possible tried to revive it na parang buhay ko ang nakasalalay kung hindi ko mababasa ang message na ito. Ito na ba? Ito na ba ang sagot sa bored ass ko?!

I looked closely at it and felt myself turn red all over again.

"If your name is yours, so you are mine? 😊"

May nagagawa din palang maganda ang pagkabored ko sa buhay.
