It was finally Friday again. and I couldn't contain my excitement. There was going to be a party tonight after the game, and I couldn't wait to relax. I have been texting Jason for the past couple of days, and we decided to go on anotner date tomorrow night. I've been having a hard time dealing with the guilt that I had for talking to Jason, and decided if the second date went well, I was going to tell Andy.

I was in English again, and Andy was back to his usual game of trying to get me into trouble. "Maybe I can go on a date with Madison. After all, she is pretty hot. I could use her."

That made my blood boil. I knew he wouldn't, but the way he said it angered me to no end. The second Mrs. Carr turned around, I turned back to Andy and finally said something to him, "Andy, shut the hell up!" I whisper yelled and turned back around just in time for Mrs. Carr to turn back to face the class.

"Wow. I didn't know you had it in you. You didn't even get caught!"

"Andy! What's the answer?"

"Hamlet?"

"Detention on Monday, Mr. Tabet. Maybe you will finally pay attenion in my class."

I smirked, serves him right.

"Unbelievable. I finally get you to talk, and I'm the one that gets caught! I'm starting to think that you're teachers pet. "

We left English and Andy grabbed my arm before I could leave, "Wanna use your talent tonight at the party?"

I raised my eyebrows at him, asking him to go on. "Johnson asked if I knew some people who could sing. He wants to do some karaoke tonight."

"Yeah, sure. I'll bite. Doesn't Johnson's parties always end up with some Buckaneers coming though?" Aaron, or Johnson, is related to someone who goes to Belview High and is friends with some guys on the team.

"Yeah, but we can get along off of the field, AJ. We aren't barbarians."

I couldn't stop it, "Jason?"

"We are both captains, it's different. I've heard he's a pretty good guy though, so after we are done with the season, maybe when we are at parties we can get along," he smiled at me and ruffled my hair. I cringed, I really needed to watch him more closely. "Besides why do you care about whether or not I get along with Jason?"

Crap. I had to think fast. "Well, you said you could get along with them off the field, and you've never said anything about being on good terms with Jason. I was just curious," not a total lie, and Andy seemed to believe it.

"Yo, Tabet, did you get me any singers?" I turned to see Aaron walking down the hall towards us. "Yeah, you're looking at your star singer right now."

"Dude, I've heard you sing. You suck."

"Not me, idiot. AJ."

Aaron turned to me and nodded, "Alright, AJ, I look forward to hearing you. Besides anyone can be better than your brother," He ducked out of the way of Andy's punch, and patted me on the back as he sprinted down the hall. "Mr. Johnson, slow down!" I heard a teacher yell and both of us laughed.

"Don't burn out those vocals of yours at the game tonight," he winked and I laughed. He knew I wouldn't be paying attention. Although Madison was coming to this game, so she wouldn't letting me read. I'll have no choice but to pretend to enjoy the game.

............

"I heard the news! I can't believe you're singing tonight! Oh I'm so happy!" Madison came running up to me in the cafeteria, and hugged me from behind. She secretly whispered in my ear, "Does lover boy know you sing, 'cause he might be there?"
