Day One (continued):
Roman knocked on Virgil's door. He didn't hear him talking on the phone anymore but he did give him another half hour to calm down. Virgil opened the door and knew what Roman was going to ask.
"I am coming with you. But we have to make a stop other than the store." Virgil said. Roman was shocked and was too busy trying not to gay out with what Virgil was wearing. He wore what he usually did but Virgil's style always looked really good on him.
"I am sorry, what?" Roman asked as Virgil pushed past him.
"I said I am coming with you. I have to pick up a refill for my prescription that I called in. We need to stop by the pharmacy before we come home." Virgil said as he slipped on a pair of converse that he kept by the door.
"Okay, may I ask why?" Roman knew why, he just wasn't sure if he was right.
"I need a refill." Virgil shortly.
"You need a refill already? Didn't you just get one before we left for school?" Roman asked. He knew that the medication Virgil took was as needed and he also knew Virgil was bad at remembering to take it. So the fact Virgil was getting another one was concerning, especially since Roman knew that Virgil hadn't been taking it for a while.
"I did." Virgil said and picked up his wallet and keys. Roman was already dressed because he didn't expect to have company. And he followed him to the living room.
"The only time you get a refill if you already have one is if you are going back-wait, are you planning to go home?" Roman walked over to him.
"I haven't booked anything yet but I am trying to get back home to my cousin. He can't be doing well and I would rather be with him during this than in an apartment states away. It will also calm me down rather than staying here and worrying." Vrigil said and they both knew what he meant. He didn't want to stay here with Roman.
"Virgil, we are under a stay at home order. I don't think any planes are flying." Roman said he was just trying to get Virgil to stay. Roman wasn't good on his own and Logan said that he wasn't going to be back anytime soon and that meant Patton wasn't either.
"I'll drive. I have a license and my cousin bought me a car last summer. I don't have to fly." Virgil said. Roman got to the door as Virgil went to open it. He put his hand on the door to keep it closed.
"No."
"What?" Virgil asked and gave Roman a look that almost made Roman back down, but Logan had said that irrational decisions were not uncommon. And he also made Roman promise to keep Virgil in the apartment, because Patton would kill the both of them. And also he figured Virgil's cousin wouldn't like it if he drove by himself like this.
"You heard me, no. We can go pick up your prescription but you aren't driving to your home state, at least not by yourself or without calling your cousin." Roman reasoned.
"Why are you suddenly being nice and shit? Wouldn't you want me out of here so you can have this door on open like you usually do when we are gone and you are here alone?" Virgil said snidely.
"I am your roommate, I should care about your wellbeing. And the door isn't revolving when you guys are all gone. I am barely here when you are gone, I hate the silence." Roman said quietly.
"Whatever, I'll call him in the car happy?" Roman nodded and let the door go. "Good, I doubt he will have any issue with it. He's been my guardian since I was 13." Roman wasn't sure how to answer that so he didn't and followed Virgil.
