TW: Vomiting, and talk of side effects to medications
Two Weeks Into Quarantine:True to their word, Roman stopped the constant flirting and Virgil was taking his meds. Two weeks went by and Roman asked the question each night. Each night it was the same answer. And each night Roman would lock himself in his room and not come out until the morning.
He was always up before Virgil despite not having any early morning classes. He made Virgil breakfast, which wasn't much more than a muffin or something he could heat up, and made sure Virgil's coffee was always full, people assumed he was with a boyfriend they didn't tell them about. He was doing a project with a few classmates when they finally asked about it. Virgil had earbuds in and Roman had placed the coffee down next to his computer, Virgil mouthed a thank you and Roman nodded.
"Okay, I have to ask. Who the hell was that?" Leo asked.
"What?" Virgil asked.
"The guy who just popped in the frame. I have seen him each time we have worked together." Leo pushed.
"You mean my roommate?" Virgil asked and took a sip of the coffee.
"I thought you hated the guy." Leo said and Virgil was happy he was on headphones.
"We talked things out and came to an agreement of some kind and it's been going very well." Virgil responded. "Now back to the matter at hand, what-"
"So, you aren't dating anyone?" Another group member asked.
"No, I am not. Please can we focus, my roommate has a class in a half hour and I would like to get something done on this." Virgil said.
"Wait, which roommate? You have three." A girl named Allie said.
"Why does it matter-"
"I bet it's Patton."
"No, he's at home. It's gotta be Logan. He always stressed good health."
Allie shook her head. "No, Logan wouldn't be giving him a fourth coffee. It's Patton."
"But Patton is at home!" Leo stressed.
"Roman gave me the coffee! That's who it was." Virgil said angrily.
Roman poked his head in and gave him a questioning look, he held his thumb up and then down. Virgil waved him off.
"I knew it!" Leo said happily.
"Guys, please can we work?" Virgil asked. The rest of his group nodded and they got to work. Virgil just tried to avoid any questions about him and Roman, his friends just wouldn't let it go.
After they hung up, Virgil felt his stomach churn. He hated the adjustment period, it wasn't too bad recently but he had a feeling it would amp up. And that it did.
An hour after he finished with his friends and of just doing some work, he suddenly felt his lunch coming back up. He flew into the closest bathroom, which happened to be Patton and Logan's.
Roman was listening to a lecture with his camera off in his room when he heard Virgil drop his things and sprint. He knew Virgil was in the living room but he wasn't sure if it was because of something he forgot. He didn't hear him in his room and got worried.
He quickly asked a friend to send notes he missed over and put the computer down. Roman went to the hallway and then heard someone getting sick from Patton's room? The only other person in the house was Virgil..that meant.
