9 Weeks into Quarantine:

It had been a week and Virgil rarely saw Roman aside from meals. Roman said he was doing some planning on top of his recordings. Virgil had heard him going over what he was assigned again and again before he had to send it off. He was starting to get concerned he was told that they would have a date today but currently there had been nothing from Roman. Not even a movement in his room.

Virgil was worried Roman had forgotten despite the fact it was all he talked about. Virgil had his last final yesterday and was resting today. Because of that he forgot to take his meds so he was feeling a lot more anxious than he usually was. Roman had come in to tell him to stay in his room when he noticed the bottle was unmoved. Each time Virgil took his meds, he put it right side up. And each time Roman went to bed or woke up before Virgil he flipped it on it's cap.

The bottle was resting on the cap when he woke up later in the day. He sighed, Virgil could've just forgotten it was okay.

"Virge, take your meds now." Roman yelled when he walked out of his room. It was noon. He needed to be ready by six.

    "What?" Virgil yelled back.

"Take your meds, can't have you panicking during dinner." Roman said as he got his checklist.

"How'd you know I didn't take it?" Vrigil asked standing in the doorway of the living room.

"I had a feeling, plus the bottle is upside down. When you take them, you put it rightside up." Roman said, still looking at his list. "Also, I'll be back in like three hours so you can move freely in the apartment until then, but when I come back I am going to have to lock you in your room until six." Roman said.

    "What? Why?" Virgil asked.

"I have to go get ready then set up." Roman put his list in his pocket and went to grab his keys and mask that he made. He had made one for Virgil as well who liked his more than he would let on.

"Set up is going to take you three hours?" Virgil asked.

"No, but I think you are going to force me to wash everything immediately and shower once I come back as well as sanitize anything I touch so it's better safe than sorry." Roman smiled at Virgil.

Virgil hadn't noticed just how much he had made Roman do when he came back. Virgil didn't really leave unless he had to but he hadn't so he saw no reason for a mask. But Roman had made him one anyway.

"Oh." Virgil said. Roman chuckled slightly.

"Honey, I don't mind it. If it makes you feel safer and calmer, I'll do it but I have to go run errands alone today. Even though I doubt you would want to leave anyway." Roman responded and took Virgil's hand.

"So it's gonna be a surprise?" Virgil asked. He was trying to ignore the fact that Roman had learned a lot about him and kept it in the back of his mind. Was it each time he brought groceries home and Virgil sent him to shower without touching anything? Did he really notice all of Virgil's ticks?

The fact Roman had one of his hands didn't make it better. So he was just intensely staring at his hand. Roman took notice and saw Virgil fighting with himself internally.

"Virgil?" He asked. Virgil didn't respond. Roman really hoped he wasn't going to panic. He really didn't want that to be the start of the day.

"Honey?" Still no response. Was Virgil having second thoughts about this? If he did then he would just not get everything and they could end the deal. It didn't matter to Roman. He wanted Virgil to be safe. Roman thought and then had an idea.
