ROBIS
I don't want to go home yet but I have too. I know that I can't run away from my problems forever.

Can I?

I have to face it. I have to deal with it.

Good thing there's someone, like Joey who I can share my sentiments with.

I came out from my reverie when I reached home. Nag-doorbell ako at agad namang pinagbuksan ng kasambahay namin. Pumasok ako sa main door at napansin 'kong tahimik ang buong bahay. As usual walang tao.

"Akala ko naman humabol ka sa restaurant?" she said as she stumble her way towards the kitchen.

Dito lang ako sa kusina," she smile at me so I forced myself to return that smile to her.

I heaved a sigh as I walked upstairs. I lie to my bed as soon I entered my room. I really feel exhausted!

I looked at the white ceiling as if it looked directly back at me as if  testing which one of us would blink first.

I smiled when I saw the big poster of my favorite anime on the ceiling. The story is about basketball, that why I'm hooked with it. How I wish I can be an anime, so I can play basketball all my life with no one stopping me.

I decided to take a shower first before going to sleep.

I was scrolling through my phone when I heard someone knocked on my door. I got up from my bed to open it.

"Kuya ikaw pala? Congrats nga pala."

"Thank you," he replied with a smile. "Ikaw, congrats din, I saw Kobi's IG post nanalo kayo," there's a wide smile plastered on his lips.

"Ah...yes, salamat."

"Nga pala nagalit si Daddy kanina when I texted you at hindi ka umuwi. Sinabi ko na lang na may project ka, so if he ask you... iyon na lang ang sabihin okay?"

I was close with my brother. But since he and our eldest brother are into academic—I'm into sports—eventually we separated ways. We still hang out pero 'di na tulad noon. Mas sinusunod kasi lagi nila si Daddy. I'm the one who always oppose. He even knocked on my door to said that.

I really appreciated it.

"You know that Dad is against with it  'di ba?" Kuya asked worriedly. I opened the door wider and lend him in. Sabay kaming naupo sa kama ko.

"Yes Kuya, but I love what I'm doing," I answered.

Is he also going to ask me to quit playing basketball?
