8. Bad Starts (Past)

Late at the wedding night, Ye Jin goes into Hyun Bin's bedroom. She entered the room slowly. The light in the bedroom is too dim.

The television is switched on without an audience. The air conditioner is so cool. Ye Jin shivered with cold. She reached for her towels and nightgown. Then, she went into the bathroom.

All was done quietly. She afraid to wake Hyun Bin who seemed to be sound asleep in the middle of the bed.

After taking a shower, Ye Jin walks towards the bed that was supposed to be the bed for the two of them. Hyun Bin already sleeps in the middle of the king-size bed.

She feels that she couldn't sleep next to Hyun Bin because the both sides of the bed were too narrow.

So, she took two spare pillows and planning to sleep on the sofa in the room which is near to the bookshelf.

The size of the sofa is quite large enough for Ye Jin to sleep quite comfortably.

She whispered in her heart.

'This is where you will sleep for the rest of your life.'

She was too tired.

As soon as she put her head on the pillow, she continued to fall asleep.

Passing each day is becoming difficult for Ye Jin. She did her best to adapt to her new life.

She has become Hyun Bin's wife exactly for two months, living in a big house and sharing bedroom with her husband.

But they are still like strangers. They don't know each other deeply.

Possibly on Hyun Bin, Ye Jin is only like a helper and he doesn't consider her as his wife.

Literally Ye Jin doesn't understand Hyun Bin's behaviour. She also doesn't know the extent of Hyun Bin's state of his mental health.

There are many things happen that Ye Jin unexpected to go through every day while living with her husband.

Ye Jin sometimes can't handle Hyun Bin's mood swings.

Sometimes Hyun Bin doesn't want to wake up. He sleeps from dawn to dusk.

"Oppa, wake up please. It's already noon."

Sometimes he wakes up too early and disturbing Ye Jin's bedtime.

"Oppa, it's midnight. Slow down the volume."

There was a time when Hyun Bin did not respond to what Ye Jin was doing.

"Oppa, are you listening to me?"

He made Ye Jin does not exist in the room.

There was also a time when Hyun Bin behaved well and according to what Ye Jin asked him to do. Take a shower, change clothes, go out to eat with Grandma Hyun, take medicines and so on.

"Oo...k...ay...!" Hyun Bin nodded.

That positive response makes Ye Jin have a little hope for her husband to recover as usual.

But... the next day, his behaviour changed so drastically.

Ye Jin's little hope for her husband in vain.

She is none other than a helper or a nurse who been paid to take care of special patient.

'It was a bad start for me.'

Ye Jin sighed as she looks Hyun Bin already snoring at the bed.
