Giyu pov:
I have been at the butterfly mansion for a few days now. I keep visiting kocho all the time. She still hasn't woken up yet.
Kanroji has been keeping me company some of the time, but she has her own missions so she can't be here always. She always bring food with her, which is nice.
I have been thinking about what happened, why she pushed me out of the way of that attack, and risked her own life and i haven't come to any conclusions. Its driving me insane!
I don't want lose her like my older sister or sabito. I care about her too much for that to happen. Maybe i should forget about my feelings for her, to protect her. I mean i couldn't protect her or myself and now she is in a hospital bed while i got a few slashes!! I am a danger for her and i should stay away from her because she will get even worse injuries if she stays near me!
Why protect someone like me? A person who is so weak that they couldn't even save my sister or friend, and now who gets the person they love killed. Why?!!
Few hours later:
Nobody pov:
Giyu has been thinking like this for a long time when a voice stopped him. "Tomioka-san..." it was weak and soft but giyu still heard it. He turned to shinobu's bed side to see that she has awaken. "Kocho you're awake" was all he said before he hugged her. Shinobu herself was suprised to see giyu hugging her, but before she could put her arms around him he pulled away.
"I am glad you have woken up" he said simply. Shinobu didn't look happy though, giyu looked stressed, like he hasn't been sleeping well. "Tomioka-san are you ok?, you look tired." She asked softly. Giyu looked suprised at her question, he didn't even know he was tired untill she said it. He really hasn't been sleeping well because he was worried about her and the constant nightmares. "I feel fine kocho, no need to worry about me, how are you though?" He wanted to know how she felt not about him.
"I feel terrible tomioka-san" she said with a smile. Giyu's heart skipped a beat when he saw that smile, not only was he happy to see that smile, he was scared he won't be able to see it if she got seriously hurt again. He doesn't want that to happen, ever again.
They talked for hours untill aoi came in to tell giyu to leave.
