A few months later:
Mitsuri and obanai's wedding is today and shinobu is very excited for it. When they announced their wedding, everyone was very happy for them.
The planning process was very hard but they managed to get everything ready. Mitsuri had asked the girls on the spot to be her bridesmaids and shinobu to be her maid of honour. They all agreed happily.
(author note: i am making it a western style wedding so just imagine them with Japanese style clothing😅🙂)
That was months ago. Today was the day and everyone was excited and nervous.
At the wedding ceremony:
Shinobu sighed when she saw giyu trying, and failing, to help obanai with his nerves. 'It's nice and all but thats not how you calm down a person' she thought to herself in amusement. Having enough of this, shinobu went to obanai and said "mitsuri-san doesn't care about what you look like iguro-san, she cares about your personality. So calm down and be confident." She was hitting his shoulder. Obanai managed to calm his nerves and say, "thank you kocho." She smiled.
She then grabbed giyu's arm and pulled him away. Giyu let her lead him away. He was shocked that she could calm down obanai. Before he could ask, the place became very quiet. Mitsuri had entered and she was beautiful in her dress and obanai looked like he was going to die by her beauty. Shinobu smiled even more now.
The wedding has started.
At the wedding reception:
The reception was great and everyone singing and dancing. Giyu was by himself, just thinking. Shinobu found him like that.
"Moshi moshi giyu-kun~ are you ok?" She asked. He looked at her and nodded. "Yeah i am, just thinking" he said. "Oh and what are you thinking about" she said with a smile. He turned to her with a expression that she couldn't recognize. "I am wondering if we weren't demon slayers would we have met?" Her smile dropped and before he could ask her what is wrong he was stunned by her answer, "of course we would have met. What kind of question is that?" She said it like she was offended by the thought.
Shocked, he asked her another question. "How could you be so sure?" He said quietly, not trusting himself to speak any louder. "I just can't imagine my life without you in it, its impossible..." she put a hand on her heart.
Not many things could shock him speechless but this is one of the things that can. Without saying anything he embraced her.
'Thats it, i am going to marry her' he thought in determination.
