A day later:
After the confession yesterday, giyu had asked shinobu out on a date. Well he didn't phrase it like that. Of course she said yes and planned for it to be at her favourite restaurant. Giyu left after that discussion and was happy about it, he didn't show it of course but shinobu knew he was happy.
2 hours later:
At the restaurant:
Giyu and shinobu had walked to the restaurant from the demon slayer headquarters, which wasn't far from it. They both sat down on a table and talked about something's.
"Tomioka-san did you order salmon daikon again?" She asked him. Because the last time they both ate at a restaurant, he had salmon daikon and he smiled at the food. Shinobu was suprised and disgusted by it. "Please tell me you didn't, because you have a weird smile whenever you see it" she tried to make it sound like a joke, but clearly she's annoyed.
Outwardly he didn't show his emotions, but inside he was laughing at her annoyed face. He couldn't help but smirk at her.
"Tomioka-san!!" She whined. She wanted nothing but to smack that smirk off his face. She both loved and hated it. Now he couldn't help but laugh at her. She looked so cute right now.
"Calm down kocho, it's not good for you to get worked up" he told her. She pouted and glared at him. He leaned forward to kiss her on the cheek. Her glare softened and she blushed. He chuckled when he saw her face, so adorable!
An hour later:
After eating the two hashira decided to go to the park. They were having fun when giyu asked her a serious question. "Kocho do you regret falling in love with me?" She looked confused by the question so asked "why would I regret it?" She took note that his face suddenly looked like he was scared. "its because i lost two people who were important to me, and i don't want to lose you as well" he said quietly. She looked puzzled at his answer so he explained what happened to him, how he lost his sister to a demon and sabito in final selection.
At the end of his explanation shinobu was almost in tears. Without thinking she hugged and said "you won't lose me, i promise giyu-kun" he looked suprised by her use of his first name but he liked hearing her say it. He embraced her. "Thank you, shinobu" he said softly.
40 minutes later:
They were both were walking back to the butterfly mansion when a familiar voice made them both halt. "And where the hell were both of you today?" They turned around to see sanemi. But not just him but every hashira and including tanjiro, kanao, zenitsu, inosuke and aoi.
'Oh dear' the couple thought in unison.
