We Need A Reunion

Part 33

It was a week before the tour was scheduled to start. Niall, Harry and Liam has all signed a more permanent contract with Audio Edits that has been changed slightly to suit them. I had been busy overlooking the plans for the tour. Niall and I had gone on a few more dates, so had Louis and Harry, and Liam and Zayn. We also had a few days where we just hung out with each other.

I was sitting on an armchair in Louis and I's apartment rewatching one of One Directions old concerts. I was so engrossed in watching the boys have fun on stage that I didn't notice Niall coming in from the kitchen with tea.

"What are you watching?" Niall asks handing me a mug. I look up and take the tea.

"Its research. On an old concert of yours and the lads. For inspiration. And totally not to see how stupid Louis could be when left unsupervised." I say giggling. I move and sit beside Niall on the couch. I show him my laptop while snuggling into his side. "Did he really jump off a floating platform?"

"Yeah, though he got like a three hour long lecture on 'messing up' after the show." Niall says smiling at the clip. I furrow my eyebrows.

"I still don't like how Syco treated you lot. I mean they had the chance to make you lot and them a lot of money if only they allowed yous to be open about some stuff like Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn's sexuality. I mean then a lot more people could relate to them and they would feel comfortable about being themselves. Not that it's all about money though." I say looking up at Niall and taking a sip of tea from my mug.

"Yeah, it sucked having half a dozen people control what you could and couldn't say to the people who supported us for years." Niall says kissing my temple.

"But now I guess I have to thank them because you've come to me and my Uncle and we're not letting yous go. Especially me." I say grinning and give him a peck on the lips. "Do you think you're gonna be ready for the tour? I mean it was kinda sprung on you and there's so many shows to do. Even with the tour being split so you can have a break in between every twenty shows."

"I think so. I can't say the same for the boys but I know I'm gonna be alright as long as I have them, you and food. Well mostly you." Niall says grinning.

We kiss again but are interrupted by Louis clearing his throat from the doorway. I stand up and go to give him a hug when I see that Harry, Zayn and Liam are with him along with Freddie and Bear.

"Auntie Kayleigh!" Freddie and Bear exclaim and rush to give me hugs. I laugh and crouch down to hug them properly.

"Hiya Tommy Jr, Koala Bear. How've you been?" I say after our hugs.

"I'm fine! I missed you but grandma Jay took care of me for a while and gave me cookies!" Freddie says before turning back to Louis.

"I was at Mummy's for a while, but she had the nanny take care of me. You're still best babysitter to me." Bear says. I coo at him and pick him up and ask the lads how they've been.

We sit down in the living room after Bear and Freddie drag me to play with them. Bear, Freddie and I sit on the floor with a few of Freddie's toys that were laying around the apartment. I was sitting leaning up against Niall's legs sipping my tea occasionally while playing with the boys. Louis and Harry sit down next to Niall on the couch while Liam and Zayn took the armchairs.

"Kay? What's this on your laptop?" I pause and look up at Louis who's looking at me with amusement written all over his face. I furrow my eyebrows before remembering what I was doing before the rest got here. I look at Niall and see him quietly laughing.

"Just researching whether or not to get you a child leash again when we go on tour." I say innocently sipping my tea.

"Hey! We said we weren't going to bring that up again." Louis exclaims while blushing like mad. The lads and I start laughing.

"Wait, you're telling me that she actually bought you a child's leash?" Liam asks in between laughs. I smirk, nodding and that sets off another round of laughter. "Man, Kay, now I know where Lou gets his mischievousness from."

"Yeah, y'know before me, Lou has never pulled a prank on anyone. Obviously I had to fix that and the next day we set up a harmless prank on one of Lou's friends who was coming over." I say.

"What'd you do?" Zayn asks curiously.

"Oh, we decided we were going to pretend she was my long lost twin sister." Louis says smiling. "To this day I still think he believes we're siblings even though we've told him we're not. But, then again we do act a lot like siblings."

I nod and smile before going back to playing with the boys. We kept a conversation going and watched a movie before letting the boys have a nap in Freddie's room for an hour or so.

"So now that you two are signed with Audio Edits, that means you can come out at any time you want. Say the words and I'll set something up as quickly as I can." I say pointing to Liam and Harry as I walk back into the living room and sitting on Niall's lap. "And with the coming out you can also announce your relationships at the same time or you can wait however long you'd like. There's absolutely no rush and it's completely up to you."

They nod and Louis wraps an arm around Harry.

"It'd be nice to do it as soon as possible but I think I'll wait and either do it at one of the shows or on one of the breaks." Harry says while snuggling into Louis' side. Liam nods along before answering himself.

"I'd like to do it on the first break of the tour. That way I have a little time to think stuff through before saying anything."

"Well, I'll just say it's so much easier to just not plan anything to say and just make up a little speech on the spot. I was stressing for days beforehand while thinking of what to say before Kay slapped some sense into me. Literally." Louis advises smiling softly at Harry while running his fingers through his hair. "She grabbed a sheet of paper wrote 'sense' on it and slapped me over the head with it. She keeps saying how it worked and that she's gonna slap textbooks over my head next."

We talk for a while before Liam has to take Bear home and Zayn leaves with them. Louis decides to take Freddie and Harry on a walk to the park then to a little café to get some dinner.

When it's just Niall and I, I turn to him after seeing the rest out.

"Ships are sailing smoothly Captain!" I squeal out. We laugh and Niall kisses my temple. "You know with the amount of secret photos I take of Larry and Ziam, I could make an hour long slideshow for both."

"Honestly same. I swear if anyone hacked our phones and they plastered them all over the internet there would be no way to stop them." Niall says laughing.

"Not that we would." I say in between laughs.
