We Need A Reunion

Part 34

It was finally time for the tour and I was so excited. I could tell each of the boys were too, what they didn't know was that I had a surprise planned for them at the end of their first show.

I was currently with them in the dressing room as they got ready for their show. I had let them each have their own style of clothes and Louise had helped with their hair and everything else. I was looking at the checklist I had made of things needed to be done before the show.

"Ok, I need to go and check on the sound department. When you're finished here can you please do a sound check? I have to make sure the light crew are ready as well." I say as I read what's been done and what still needs to be done. "Ed volunteered to be opening act for the show, so I need to go make sure he's here as well."

"Ok, we'll do the sound check. If you need us to help with anything else give us a text, yeah?" Liam asks. I nod and smile at them. I kiss Niall on the cheek before rushing to the sound booth. After making sure they were ready and set up I checked my phone.

At front door now. Crews
leading me to get mic'd up.
Can't wait for tonight. So
exciting.

Kayleigh📋:
That's great. I'll try to talk
to u bfore the show but am
while busy.

Np the boys r here to do
sound check so I'm w them

At least they're doing as
they're told 😂

I gtg more things to do.

Eddy🎤:
Boys have their mics and
are bopping around.

I laugh at the video he sends of the boys dancing around before putting my phone away and start on my way to the light crew. After making sure they, too, were ready I meet back up with they boys. I find them finishing up their sound check and still dancing about with Ed joining in. I laugh as Ed and Harry start skipping round trying to get Louis to join in.

"Seems like you're having fun." I say and they look to me grinning.

"Obviously." Louis says sarcastically. "Who wouldn't with Gingersnap here."

I laugh and we talk a bit before I look at the time.

"Alright Ed you're on in ten. Boys be ready. Lou?" I say as Ed walks away to the stage with his guitar. Louis looks over as I call his name. "The whole family is coming."

After hearing that Louis perks up. I quickly leave the room and make sure everything's ready. I grab a mic while putting down my clipboard and rush on stage. I hear a lot of screaming and grin at the sight of the thousands of fans gathered in front of me.

"Hi guys! I know you are all excited, I am too. Before we get into the boys we've got a very special opening act. If you'll put your hands together for Mr Ed Sheeran!" I say into the mic and step off stage. As I start to hear musics fly around me I walk to find the boys. They're in the same room that I left them in.

"Alright boys. Get ready." I say smiling. "If you'll follow me, let's start this tour!"

The boys grin and rush after me. As we get to the stage we hear Ed finishing up. When the music is over I walk back on stage.

"Thanks Ed for the amazing opening. Now the moment you've all been waiting for! Welcome Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan as One Direction!" I say over the screams. They get louder as each boy arrives on stage. I give them each a hug before walking off and waiting for them. They sing the songs they want and over the next few hours sing, interact with fans and have fun.

Finally it was the last song. They'd chosen to finish with C'mon C'mon. I readied up my surprise while they started. Right when Harry was going to sing 'Hey, I've been watching you all night.' Zayn steps out and sings it for him. The fans go crazy and the boys look shocked before snapping out of it and finishing the song. After they finish, they greet Zayn. I step back on stage.

"Looks like my surprise was greatly appreciated." I say cheekily as Zayn grins at me.

"This was you?" Louis asks. I nod holding back a laugh.

"Anyways." I say turning back to the crowd. "Thank you all for coming. I hope you had as great a time as we have had. I would like to say that Zayn will officially be rejoining the band!"

They boys look shocked again and Zayn has tears in his eyes as he nods. The crowd goes crazy again as the boys all join a group hug.

"Anyone who has a VIP meet and greet ticket, could you please make you're way to the left exit while everyone else heads out to the back or right exit." I say pointing to the doors in question. The crowd starts making their way out and the boys and I head off stage. Suddenly I'm in the middle of a group hug.

"Best surprise ever." Liam says when the boys let go of me. I laugh before shaking my head.

"Yeah? So you enjoyed it?" I ask as Niall wraps his arms around me. They all nod. "Good because that would've been a waste of my time. Especially since Zayn's joining us for the rest of the tour."

We laugh and joke before the boys head to the meet and greet room. After meeting about a hundred fans, taking lots of photos and signing dozens of items, we head home exhausted. I let out a sigh of relief when I collapse on my bed. Louis comes in a few minutes later with two cups of tea.

"How'd you manage to convince Zayn to come back?" He asks after handing me a mug.

"I just asked. He was excited to do it. Especially now that him and Liam are together." I say sipping my tea.

"That's great." Louis says smiling softly.

"I know. By the way look at these." I say as I pull out my phone and show him the videos the families had sent me from that evening. We continue joking about and talking until we finish our tea.

"Alright I'm away to bed, another show tomorrow." Louis says as he leaves my room. I quickly change into my pyjamas and head to bed.
