"So what's the supposed news?" Jackie asked, not even wanting to glance at Sam, even though she knew he was back on his feet.

"I'll start with the good part first.." Lily began, her hands on her hips. "A few minutes ago...I had a vision that I was back at the hospital..and I saw her."

"'Her'?" Jackie asked.

"Amara." She continued, Cass's eyes widening. "She's there..at the part of the town that's infected.." Lily shifted uncomfortably on her feet. "The catch...is that she knows we're coming..she said that she's waiting for us.."

"I'm not surprised." Cass said. "But we know that she's there, so that's something."

"But what about Sammy?" Dean asked. "He's in no condition to fight her."

"I told you what I would do, Dean." Sam said, his voice low.

"Yeah, and like I told you, that ain't happening!"

"It might be the only way for him to be useful." Lily said. "I don't like it either, but it'll be helpful.."

"Wait what?" Cass asked.

"Sam wants to go in and fight the infected by himself in the hospital." Jackie said. "He said since he's basically one of them they won't hurt him."

Cass ran a hand through his hair. "I hate to say this but I agree with Lily..they won't hurt him like they'll try to hurt us."

"Exactly." Sam said. "So?"
Dean was at a loss. In a way, they were right, the other infected wouldn't hurt him. But he also didn't want to lose his brother..it's all the family he has left.
Sighing, he looked over to him. "We'll all go back..but I go with you, and the other three find Amara."

Sam rolled his eyes. "Dean--"

"No, Sammy...I'm not leaving you by yourself." Dean said, finality in his voice. "We leave in five."

Leaving it at that, they prepared themselves for possibly the biggest fight they've done in a long time.

"How're you holding up with all this?" Lily asked Jackie, putting a machete in the inside pocket of her leather jacket. "Noticed you were a bit of an emotinal mess back there."

"Yeah...sorry about that.." Jackie said, grabbing her angel blade. "I just...can't believe he would hide something like that for as long as he did..." She slumped her shoulders. "Right now I just don't know what to think."

Lily gave her a reassuring look. "Right now..we're gonna kill the one that started all of it. Once she's gone, I'm sure Sam will be okay."

"Hopefully.." She muttered, putting on her jacket when she noticed her friends face go a little more pale, her hand gripping the bed sheets tightly, her head down, making her raise an eyebrow. "You alright? You're noy infected, are you?"

Softly chuckling, Lily shook her head. "No no...I'm not." She lifted her head up. "I'll be fine."

"You sure?"

Lily gave a small nod. "Yeah. Let's just go."

Once they met up with the others, Cass ported them to the infected area once more. Standing outside the hospital, Sam stepped forward, almost stumbling on his own two feet.

"Alright...Sammy and I are going in there, you three stay out here for Amara." Dean said, turning to face them. "You guys be careful..and stay on guard. You never know when she'll show up."

"You two be careful, as well." Cass said. "If something happens, tell us."

"Yeah, we will." Sam said.
When he moved his gaze to Jackie, she didn't even give as much as a sideeye towards him, examining her angel blade. Sighing, he turned and followed Dean inside while Lily, Cass and Jackie waited for Amara.
