When they all got back to the motel, Jackie and Sam went to their room, Cass returning to heaven while Dean and Lily went to their room. Sitting on the bed, Lily watched Dean as he packed up his duffel bag. The words burned in the back of her throat, knowing that, sooner or later, she has to tell him. Taking a deep breath, what she said next she couldn't take back.

"Amara was right..." She said.
Dean raised an eyebrow. "About? I wasn't there so.."

"She...I tricked her into making it look like I wanted to make a deal with her." She began. "Don't worry, it didn't happen." She added to his worried look. "But...she said something that was true..." Biting her lip, she gripped the bedsheets tightly. "She said..that if she killed me...she would kill us both."

"Both?" Dean asked. "Both as in you and me?" Shaking her head, she watched as Dean knelt in front of her, his hand on her knee. "What do you mean?"

Gripping his hand, she lifted her gaze to his. "Dean..." She swallowed the lump in her throat, not really knowing what to expect out of him when she finally came out with it. "I'm pregnant...and it's yours."
His eyes went huge, his entire body freezing up. "Are you serious?"
Lily nodded, tears rolling down her face. "Yeah. I am."
For the first time in a while, he didn't know what to say, his brain filled with so many things he had no idea what to do. He never thought, in a million years that, at some point, he would become a father. But here he is..with the girl he loves..carrying their child.
Moving, he sat next to her, his expression changing from shock, to a really caring and loving one. Reaching his hand out, he placed his palm over her stomach, the realization of it hitting him all at once, tears of his own coming out when he softly chuckled.

"This is...this is nuts." He said.
Lily sniffled. "Yeah it is."

"I don't care, though." He locked his gaze with hers, his voice wobbly. "I will make damn sure that nothing will happen to them. That they'll be safe no matter what happens." He leaned a little closer. "I swear to you on that, even if it's the last god forsaken thing I do."
Awed by his promise, she responded by pressing her lips to his.

EPILOGUE

"So you're really gonna be a dad huh?" Sam asked as they all came back inside the bunker, the familiar musty smell welcoming them.

"Yeah I am." Dean said, setting his duffel on the map table. "That's still weird to say but I'm sure it'll be fine."

"You better call when the time comes!" Jackie said with a smile.
Lily rolled her eyes giggling. "I will. Don't worry."
Once they got themselves situated, they sat around the table, talking amongst themselves.

"So what do you think it's gonna be?" Jackie asked, holding Sam's hand.

Dean shrugged. "Don't know yet. But I'll be fine either way."

"We both will be." Lily added.
Sam smirked. "You guys will be good parents. Seriously."

Lily smiled warmly. "Thanks, Sam."
Continuing to chit chat, they had a few good laughs before deciding to go their own ways, Sam leading Jackie to their room.

"You know...that wouldn't be so bad one day." Sam said, turning to face her, his hands on her waist.
Jackie chuckled. "What?"

Casually lifting a shoulder, he came closer. "Being parents."
Blushing, she looped her hands around the back of his neck. "Well lets not get too ahead of ourselves yet, Sam."
"I know I know. Just a random thought I guess." He said, slightly embarrassed when she lightly kissed him for a couple seconds.

"I do have another thought though." She said when she drew a breath away. "Might need a little privacy."
Winking, Sam carried her bridal style into their room, shutting the door behind them.
