The hospital smelled like death, not exactly giving them a welcoming feeling. The front desk had papers all over, the chairs laying on their sides. Only a few lights worked, one of them flickering in the hallway. Nurses and doctors lay on the floor, a pool of blood around their heads. The computers still worked, Sam going over to them, looking through the files of recent cases.
"Holy crap..." He said. "Their were cases every five minutes or less."
"I'm not surprised, considering it took over half the town already." Dean said.
Jackie walked over to Lily as the boys continued to look at the files. "You think there's gonna be more of them?"
"Like we said on our way here, it's possible. It was loud enough for basically everyone who's infected to sniff out our trail." She looked over to her. "She's very efficient, I'll give her that."
"Amara or whatever her name is?" Jackie asked. "Shouldn't she be here with all this?"
"It depends." Lily said. "Right now, the boys are trying to piece more of it together."
She glanced down the hallway, straightening in alarm as a shadow moved across the wall, getting everyone's attention to not move or talk. Doing so, she quietly took her weapon out, having it at the ready. The figure moved closer, seeing it was a man in a lime green reflective vest, his veins black, stretching up to his forehead. She could clearly tell they were too far gone, for they walked like they were a zombie almost, completely unaware of the group standing at the end of the hallway.
Until a light zapped out, grabbing the victims attention, and they walked faster. Bracing herself, she sprung at them, pinning them against the wall, forcing the blade through their stomach, covering their mouth with her hand until they stopped struggling. Letting the, fall to the ground, she took a couple deep breaths, wiping the angel blade off a little before going back by the others."Well alright then." Dean said, noticing what was going on, giving her a little wink, causing her to smirk.
"Check this out." Sam said, pointing at the computer screen. "Adding on to ways of killing her, another way is to use holy oil like we usually do to trap angels. She can't get out of it, and we can kill her easily."
"Sounds easier said than done." Dean said.
"Well, good thing we have a lot of the oil."
Dean snickered at his comment, Sam smacking his shoulder. "Dude..."A loud noise was heard outside, Cass knowing what it was. "It's more infected...a lot of them."
"Guess that's our cue to go back." Dean said. "We got the information we need."
"I can teleport us back." Cass suggested.
Gathering around him, he took them back to the car, which was sitting about a couple blocks from the infected town. Sam had to lean against it, his hands on the roof."Sammy, are you okay?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Sam said in a breathy voice. "Let's just head back."
Leaving it at that, they went back to the motel, Dean looking at his brother with concern. "You sure you're okay?"Sam gave a small nod. "Yeah I'm good."
"Really, because you don't seem like it.""I'm fine, Dean." He said more sternly. "Let's just get back to the motel and figure this out."
Leaving it there, they drove in silence the rest of the way, Sams thoughts continuing to jumble his brain, figuring out the right words to say.
A/N: I'm sorry these aren't really long and all that interesting. I thought it would be easier to write these but it's been really challenging honestly. Plus there's a lot of things going on right now that I haven't really thought of this. But more is coming soon.
