Eleven (Part 2)

SAM
When I told him what I needed, I found a piece of gauze nearby with some metal scissors.

"So what exactly are you doing here?" Dean asked.

"Just trust me." I said, putting the gauze in the scissors, holding it carefully as I opened the bottle of holy oil, dipping the gauze in it. I could feel the infection wanting to end me, and it took all I had to not let it take me, grabbing my lighter.
I heard Dean react, his hand clamping my shoulder. "Dude are you gonna burn yourself??"

"Holy oil..." I said. "Maybe since..it's purified...it'll help.."

"Yeah 'maybe', Sam..maybe test it out on someone else before yourself."

"There's no one else around.." I said. "Just trust me..."

A loud bang was heard, Dean immediately getting on his feet, his gun at the ready. Managing to sit myself up, I held my hair back as a group of infected came barreling in. "Sammy, hurry up! I don't know how long I'll be able to hold them off!"

Hearing him starting to shoot, I held my hair back, bringing the flame-covered gauze closer to my skin. I could feel the intense heat, my instincts telling me to pull it back, to put it down. But I can't...I won't. Feeling the flames lightly touch my neck, I gritted my teeth in pain, my veins sizzling as I kept going. Breathing heavily, I immediately thought it wasn't working, making it worse, the black veins finally reaching my brain, wanting to make me go insane like the others.

"Sammy!" I heard Dean yell. "I'm almost out of bullets, did it work??"

I couldn't respond, and the last thing I saw was the group swarming him before I blacked out.

"Amara." Cass said with caution. "You look well."

Amara chuckled, and even that made it seem like she was going to snap their necks right then. "Small talk...always your go-to thing." She took a couple steps closer. "You brought your friends."

"Why're you doing this?" Jackie asked sternly. "Why infect innocent people?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Amara looked around like she was proud of what she has done to the town. "Because I can..and  my god I forgot how good it feels to just...let go of all your anger." She shot a venemous glare at Cass. "Especially after being locked up for centuries."

"I don't care how long you've been locked up." Lily said, matching her voice with Amaras look towards Cass. "We came here to kill you..so that's what we're going to do."

"Really?" She folded her arms. "That's gonna be tough for you, fortunately...it's hard to kill the darkness. But for you?" Raising her fist, Jackie's bones began getting crushed, painful cracking sounds being heard as she screamed, falling to her knees. "It's like snapping a twig."

"Enough!" Cass said, shooting a beam of light at her, tossing Amara back. "Don't even try to hurt her, Amara!"

Laughing, Amara stood up, moving her neck from side to side. "That tickled."

Lily looked back at Jackie, getting a nod from her as she got back up before turning back to Amara. "You know...I was gonna go easy..." Amara said. "..but not anymore."

Bringing her arm down in a slicing motion, the road broke into a giant pile of rubble as Cass and Jackie were thrown back, Lily following suit, feeling little cuts form on their skin. They didn't even have time to get back up, because black ropes engulfed them, tying them up around their torsos as they were lifted into the air, an invisible force slashing them open. Cass screamed in agony, Jackie doing the same, blood gushing down from the wounds. Lily tried to fight it, but whatever it was managed to get her, alarm going through her.

"How's this for some action??" Amara taunted. "You can't kill me!"

Lily suddenly had an idea, and a bad one at that, but she had to try. She didn't want to see her friends suffer through this. She lost enough already as it is, and she wants them to be safe.
"Enough!" Lily yelled as another slash went across her cheek. "I have a deal!"

This sparked Amaras attention. "A deal, you say?"

"Yes.." Lily said. "Just let them go first and I'll say it."

"Hmmm...I'll let you go but not them."

"Then stop with the slashing force, dammit!!" Lily snapped. "Don't take them! Just take me!"
