Yoongi woke up the next morning feeling weirdly drowsy. His head felt heavy from the horrible sleep, worried about Jimin the whole time. He reached out for his phone, seeing 34 missed calls from Jimin himself.

Jimin: I finally got here. The train got delayed because of the rainy weather. :(

Yoongi: you're safe?

Jimin: yes I am.
Jimin: the funeral is tomorrow so I'll hopefully be back in 3 days tops

Yoongi: sounds good, I'll inform Hoseok. Take as much time as you need Chim

Jimin: thanks, love you

Yoongi: bye

Yoongi hopped out of bed, walking downstairs for a light breakfast before heading in early for work. "Hoseok! You ready?" Yoongi yelled for him, chewing down on a pear. Hoseok's footsteps were heard coming from the stairs, and there he was. The same neat hair except now dyed brown and permed, enhancing his already beautiful features. Yoongi grabbed the keys, throwing them to Hoseok and they left for the early work.

"Hey guys," Jinsoul waved, seeing them walk in. "Jimin already told me, so no need to talk about it." Her voice fell low, the sadness clear as day. "We'll be low on staff today," she sighed. "I'm sorry to have to ask you guys of this, but is it alright if you work extra? Jimin did an awful lot around here." They agreed, happy to take Jimin's place until his return. An hour later, the place opened.

"Hey, can you take these?" A waiter handed a sheet to Hoseok, running off to the other side to help a different table.

"What can I get you guys today?" Hoseok walked up to the table. "Oh, hey guys."

"Hoseok?" Taehyung laughed. "I didn't know you waited here. What's up?" Taehyung sat with Jungkook in front of him, both of them wearing black attire with matching earrings and rings. However Taehyung's hair was bright blue and Jungkook's was pitch black. And it looked good as fuck.

"Not much time to talk," Hoseok frowned, showing off the busy place. "It's packed and we're low on people. If I get a chance to, I'll wave you on your way out."

"Alright we'll take 2 of your cheese steak burgers and the 25 piece chicken wings. As for drinks, we'll both take Pepsi," Taehyung spoke as Hoseok wrote it down. "That'll be it." Hoseok nodded, flashing them a friendly smile, and ran off to take his next group's order.

"I didn't know you guys were friends," Jungkook took a sip of water that was already previously placed on the table.

"Not friends but acquaintances," Taehyung chuckled, watching the brunette smile with joy as he took the table in front of them's order.

Yoongi's head continued to hurt, it worsening from the loud chatting, as he sped around the place. Dropping off a tray of food to a table, he went back into the kitchen to fix up the next order. "You alright kid?" Jinsoul's father pat his back. Yoongi nodded, using his wrist to wipe the sweat off his forehead. The two worked together to fry the meat and put together more perfect, eye-pleasing burgers.

"Here you go," Yoongi set one of the three trays in his hand down to a couple at the table. Spinning his way around someone rushing past him, he walked over to Taehyung's table. Immediately recognizing the familiar, vibrant hair and faces, he fixed him posture and kept a neutral look on his face.

"Let us know if you need anything," Yoongi set both trays down. He was about to walk away, not in the mood to interact with the two, but Taehyung's hand gripped his apron, pulling Yoongi back to face them again. Jungkook grabbed his food, watching the scene unravel.
