Saturday afternoon, and who was I kidding?
To hell with my miserable speech last night, I just found myself dressing up for Spade's gig at Querencia Park. Kahit gaano yata kahirap at kahit gaano ako kapagod, basta para kay Spade, kakayanin ko.
It's my usual forget-and-forgive stupid routine. I looked at Spencer's message and typed a reply.

Oky. Wait na ko sa gate
Katulad ng napag-usapan noon sa cafeteria, sabay-sabay kaming pupunta sa Querencia Park gamit ang sasakyan nila Alexa (Spencer later on introduced them to me). After a few minutes ay dumating na nga sila to fetch me.
"I'm so excited to see Spade!" ani Alexa.
"I bet he's hotter in person!" sabi naman ni Bea.
Tumingin na lang ako sa bintana. Querencia Park was a popular outdoor park located at Querencia Village, which was only 10 minutes away from Evergreen Heights, where I lived. Kaya naman hindi na ako nagtaka nang nakarating kami kaagad dito.
Pagkababa sa sasakyan ay rinig na rinig kaagad ang malakas na sound system. Hindi nagtagal ay nakarating din kami sa plaza sa gitna kung saan nakaset up ang entablado at mga ilaw. Wala pa ang mismong banda nila Spade at tanging emcees pa lang ang nasa stage pero sobrang dami nang tao.
"Paano tayo pupunta sa harap nito?!" ani Bea pagkakita sa crowd.
"Wag kang mag-alala. Trust my siksikan powers!" ani Cindy. Kaagad akong napangiwi sa narinig. This isn't good. Ayoko pa naman sa lahat ang pakikipagsiksikan sa dagat ng mga tao.
In the end, wala na akong nagawa dahil nagsimula na sila Alexang sumingit papunta sa harapan.
"Excuse me, excuse me! Sorry, tabi nga, excuse me," sabi nila Cindy habang sinisiko at binabangga naman nila Spencer ang mga tao.
Bakas ang inis sa mukha ng mga taong nasisiko. Sorry na lang ako nang sorry hanggang sa makapunta nga kami sa harap. Wala pang limang minuto pero pinagpapawisan na ako. Ugh, I really hated this.
"Grabe, the crowd is getting thicker! I can really feel their eagerness to see the next band! Ikaw, partner, excited ka na rin ba?" said the female emcee.
"Syempre naman, partner. The next band is evidently on the rise! They have continued to make a great name for themselves and they're currently on their way to stardom!" replied the male emcee.
"That's right. I heard nothing but good comments about this band and I bet the crowd is as excited as me to call them on stage!" masiglang sigaw ng female emcee.
"Tama ka dyan, partner. Kaya wag na nating patagalin pa. On the count of three, let's call them as loud as we can!" the male emcee instructed. "Are you ready?!"
"YEAHHH!" sigaw ng crowd.
Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. I don't know, but I'm eager and anxious at the same time. Eager because I'm gonna see Spade after weeks, and anxious because we're not really okay yet after what happened yesterday.
"ONE... TWO... THREE... SOLITAIIIRES!"
Biglang tumugtog ang mga instruments and there they are... looking so cool on the stage as they sing one of their most popular upbeat singles.
