Y/N walked alongside Draco, her fellow Slytherin and childhood friend, as they strolled through the castle after dinner.

The evening sun cast a warm glow over the stone walls, and the sound of laughter and chatter filled the air.

Draco had offered to show Y/N around the school, as part of his duties, and she had eagerly accepted.

As they walked, Draco pointed out various landmarks and shared stories about his own adventures at Hogwarts.

Y/N listened intently, her bright eyes sparkling with curiosity.

They had grown up together but studied and very different schools.

As they made their way through the corridors, Draco showed Y/N the various classrooms, including 's potions lab.

Y/N's eyes widened as she took in the rows of bubbling cauldrons and shelves of strange ingredients.

- I've heard he's a bit of a, well, let's say, a challenging teacher.(Y/N)

Y/N said, trying to diplomatically describe Snape's notorious reputation.

- Snape? No. He loves us.(Draco)

Y/N nodded, her brow furrowed in concentration.

- I've heard that too. But I want to make a good impression.(Y/N)

Draco smiled, impressed by Y/N's determination.

- You'll do great, Y/N. You've always been a hard worker.(Draco)

As they continued their tour, they chatted about their favourite subjects and professors.

Y/N was fascinated by the castle's history, and Draco was happy to share his knowledge with her.

- Here is Headmaster Dumbkedore's office, he is waiting for you.(Draco)

Draco said stepping away as the door slowly opened.

Y/N looked at him before venturing inside the mysterious office.

~~Your pov~~

As I sat in the Headmaster's office, the warm glow of the setting sun casting a comforting light over the room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation.

The soft rustle of papers on 's desk was the only sound that broke the silence, and I found myself fidgeting with my hands in anticipation.

- Ah, Miss Ivy.

Dumbledore said, his eyes twinkling with kindness as he looked up from the papers.

 - I'm afraid I've called you here for a rather...unusual reason.(Dumbledore)

I raised an eyebrow, my curiosity piqued.

- Unusual, sir?(Y/N)

Dumbledore leaned forward, his long fingers steepled together in a gesture of contemplation.

- You see, I've been made aware of your exceptional talent in Potions. Your grades from Ilvermorny are nothing short of remarkable, and I believe you would make an excellent apprentice to Professor Snape.(Dumbledore)

My heart skipped a beat as I processed the Headmaster's words.

Me, an apprentice to the infamous Professor Snape?

It was an opportunity of a lifetime, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement.

- I'm not sure what to say, sir.(Y/N)

I stammered, trying to play it cool.

Dumbledore chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

- I think you'll find it a most...enlightening experience, Miss Ivy. You'll be assisting Professor Snape in teaching new Potions to your classmates and earning some extra credit in the process, of course.(Dumbledore)
