Chapter 27

Taehee's POV

It's been days of pure torture and let's just say I ain't feeling the best. I had just woke up after passing out from the pain of the last weapon used which was a whip and let me tell you that isn't fun at all. I can barely move due to the pain in my back,legs, and face. My wrists are raw from the chain cutting into them and my voice is probably gone at this point due to lack of hydrogen dioxide. I could feel my dried tears and blood caked on my face and in my hair. I felt disgusting at this point and just wanted a shower. I try to move but immediately regret it as a searing pain goes through my back causing me to cry out and fall back.

Honestly I wish I could just close my eyes and have this all be a dream but unfortunately my life can't be that simple. Eventually the door to the room was suddenly opened which startled me.

"Oh you're awake." Sanha says shocked. I just look down and not say anything because I'm low on energy and cannot speak.

He walks over with a glass of water and hands it to me.

"Drink up. You need it." He says as he puts it to my face, helping me drink. I took careful sips in order to not choke but I finished the glass fairly quickly and felt a little better.

"Thank you Sanha." I say to him, calling him by his real which makes him flinch slightly.

"Can't let you die of dehydration or else dad will kill me. Now let's clean some wounds." He says casually as he grabs the med kit and starts to tend to my wounds.

I wince every once in a while due to the pain and he mumbles a quick sorry but after 30ish minutes I was cleaned up a bit better.

"And done." He sighs as he puts the med kit away, heading to the door.

"Sanha....how long have I been here?" I ask him and he freezes.

"3 days." Is all he says, giving me one last glance of sympathy before leaving me alone again.

I feel relieved that he told me the truth At least I think he did. But as of right now I don't care and just really hope that I'm rescued because right now I'd rather die than deal with this kinda of treatment from my father and brothers of all people. I try to remove the past few events from my mind but I'm failing terribly.

Where are they? I didn't answer *Whip*

Is there an alliance between you? Nothing. *Stab*

Being stubborn I hadn't given an answer to any question he had asked me which made father very mad. I've endured the pain and torture in order to protect the boys and beg that they will come soon and finish this because I'm starting to break down and don't know how much longer I can take this.

My eyes suddenly feel really heavy and they start to slowly close on their own causing my head to slump and the exhaustion takes me away. But not before I hear a faint voice I could've sworn was Kai.

"Wake up!" A voice says as I'm jerked awake by a hand causing me extreme pain in my back. I bite my lip in order to not break out into a sob due to the excruciating pain.

"Finally you're awake. I've been calling you for 5 minutes already." The voice says. I look up and see my father.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I croak out.

"Why not? You're brothers have been hurt once before, might as well add to that list of you being injured...or dead, whichever comes first." He says nonchalantly as he rests on a table looking at me, arms folded. If I could've broken through these chains I would've killed him by now.

"I swear once I'm free if these chains I will kill you." I seethe out which makes him laugh.

"Alright, but good luck with that." He says smugly making me shoot daggers at him and if looks could kill, he'd be dead.

"You're absolutely sick dad." I spit at him.

"No, I just know what I want and how to get it. Now why don't we have some more fun eh?" He says as he grabs a knife again, bringing it over to me.

"What? You've run out of other weapons to use or something?" I ask sarcastically.

"No, I just think we should share this fun shouldn't we? Rocky!" He calls out and I see a body move from the shadows into the light.

"R-Rocky?" I ask dumbfounded as he moves towards dad and grabs the knife, he doesn't make eye contact with me.

"Rocky, do it." Dad says as he steps aside.

"Rocky, you're my brother, please don't." I beg him. He looks down at the knife and then at me and the look in his eyes sent shivers down my spine. Hate, anger, and disappointment were etched in and I was terrified but he didn't move, he just stared at me.

"Minhyuk, do it before you're right next to her in a chair as well." Dad says using Rocky's real name. He's insane.

"Very well father." Rocky says, voice cold as he moves towards me making my eyes widen.

"R-agghhh." I cry out in pain as the knife was suddenly pushed into my side. I feel my heart shatter but I hold back the tears and grit my teeth to not show him weakness. Dad starts to clap.

"Why?" I whisper out as he takes out the knife, allowing me to bleed freely, groaning in pain.

"I'm sorry sis." He whispers loud enough for only me to hear and he retreats back.

"Well done son!" He says happily, patting him on the back.

My vision starts to get blurry due to blood loss so I couldn't see clearly but it looked like Rocky's shoulders fell after dad patted his back.

"You're free to go. Send another in. This is fun." He laughs maniacally as Rocky leaves, not looking back at me.

"You're insane." I say to my father through shallow breaths.

"Probably yes." He says looking down at me.

Suddenly the door is crashed open and Eunwoo comes running in.

"We have a problem." He says to dad urgently, slightly out of breath. Dad mumbles something incoherent and gives one last look at me.

"Don't move a muscle." He says as he runs out of the room. I sit there dumbfounded.

"Did he just tell me not to move when I'm chained up?" I ask myself shaking off the thought as everything becomes hazy.

My vision starts to get blurry and I look down at my wound which seemed like it was slowing down but my clothes that were drenched in blood would say otherwise.

I start to feel super dizzy and my eyes start to close again for the thousandth time so I was impressed I heard the door open quietly. I was so out of it that I couldn't do or understand anything that was happening. All I know is that I felt a familiar hand creep up to my face and cup it while mumbling something I couldn't comprehend, but I was able to pick up on some words before my world went black again.

They're coming, endure a bit longer
