Chapter 1: Friendship

-after a 7 years-

I'm Andi Allison de Tagle, 14 years old. Pinalaki ako ng parents ko dito sa maliit na probinsya, masaya dahil kilala na namin ang mga kapitbahay namin at napakabait ng mga tao dito. Kaya naman hindi ko talaga ipagpapalit ang probinsyang kinalakihan ko.

Michael Enzo Ashdown, that's Enz's full name. He doesn't live with his parents because YaNa, his nanny told me that they are busy with business. I call his nanny Yana inshort for Yazmine (her first name) & Nanny.

Through the years, mas nakilala ko pa si Enz, He was a very good friend to me and he's also sometimes possessive, why do I say so? because he doesn't want to share things with others. Yana told me that since he was born, ayaw niyang nahahati ang attensiyon ni Yana sakanya, gusto niya siya lang talaga ang iniintindi. I saw how Enz's loved his Yana so much, Yana is like Enz second mom.. since his birth, she is always there for him.

Alam ni Yana ang favorite food niya, the things he hated the most, like when he is disturbed sa mga ginagawa niya and he is really passionate to the things that he is doing. He just want the people around him to be proud of him. Actually kahit ano naman siya i will still accept him for who he is.

I'm blessed to have him as my bestfriend, tulungan kami sa school, siya ang sandalan ko at tuwing may nangbubully sa school namin sa akin, siya ang savior ko. Para ngang hindi na magiging masaya ang buhay ko pag wala siya eh.

"Oh, Andi, you're still here" sabi ni yana na ikinagulat ko.

Kasalukuyan kaming nasa garden nila Enz, nakahiga sa grass for the past 30 minutes.

"Shhhh.." sabi ko kay Yana sabay tingin kay Enz. Nakatulog na kasi siya eh

"Aren't you going home?" Yana asked in a whisper manner

"just a minute Yana" I closed my eyes and smiled, huminga ako ng malalim at sabay tumayo ng hindi gumagawa ng ingay

"Okay yana, I'm going" I pointed the gate on my back

"Okay, do you want me to wake up Enz for you to say goodbye to him?" nag squat si Yana sa gilid ni Enz, she's waiting for my go signal for her to wake Enz up.

"No, it's okay yana, let him stay like that for a minute" I looked at him for the last time and waved to Yana.

His house is not that far from my house, my parents are cool about me going home like 7 in the evening, besides I'm already 14 years old. I'm already a TEEN. Hindi na ako maliligaw sa mga pasikot sikot dito.

Habang naglalakad ako, ineenjoy ko ang simoy ng hangin na sumasalubong sa akin..

I can't believe that exactly 6 months to go, we'll be able to celebrate another year of our friendship,our 7th year friendship anniversary. I wonder what will I do on that day? What surprise should I do?

I need to get back this time, I need to surprise him, he always does the surprises these past few years, so now It's my time to surprise him.
