"Hi Kuya Bud" I greeted kuya Bud who was seated on the driver's seat.
"Why is your face like that?" he asked, while looking at the rear-view mirror.
"Just tired" I said without looking at him, I can't lie to him eye to eye.
He didn't speak and drove when Enz got inside the car.
The whole trip was quiet. No one dared to talk.
"Thank you Kuya Bud, Thanks Enz. See you tomorrow" I closed the door and went inside our house.
I got inside my room and put my backpack beside my bed. I lay in my bed and stared at the sealing for a while. I wasn't in the mood of talking with anyone and planned to skip dinner, but my parents wouldn't want that.
After a few minutes of contemplating everything that happened mom asked me to come out of my room because we'll be having our dinner.
I sat on my usual chair
"Hey sweetheart, are you alright?" inabot ni mama ang kamay ko habang nasa lamesa.
I looked at the plate in front of me, still untouched.
I nodded and got the spoon and fork.
"Something is bothering you honey, tell us." dad said. mom and dad are looking at me, worried.
I can't lie to my parents, they are the only one who knew what happened between me and Elizabeth 4 years ago.
Nilakasan ko ang loob ko para magkwento.
Huminga ako ng malalim. "Mom, Dad.. I saw Eli."
Hinintay ko ang kanilang expression, mas naging worried pa ang kanilang mukha. I know that they're waiting for me to talk again, to tell them what happened.
"I think, she haven't forgotten what happened last time, noong hindi ko siya kinampihan." pinunasan ko ang mukha ko, naiyak na pala ako.
Mom and Dad went to my side and they hugged me.
"It's not your fault sweetie, it was a good thing that you did it, you said the truth." Dad said.
Pinakalma ako ni Dad while my mom got me a glass of water to drink.
"Can she still forgive me dad?" I asked while catching my breath and trying to hold my tears.
"Someday honey.. there's still wound in her heart, that's why she can't forget what happened." Dad said in a reassuring tone.
I hope, someday she will forgive me.

It's weekend, it means no classes. YES! No school works and I can do whatever I want to do.
"Hi Pat" I said to a manggo tree, umupo ako sa isa sa ugat nito at lumingon sa taas nito
"How are you? Sorry, I've never visited you since then.." sumandal ako dito
"I have a news for you..." i smiled lightly
"Do you know that Eli is back?... it seems like yesterday since the day our friendship ended."
I let out a deep sigh
"time flies so fast right?" kinakausap ko toh ng parang magsasalita.. sana nga't nakakapagsalita nalang ang puno para kahit papaano gumaan ang loob ko"Okay, let's change topic, I feel like my eyes are getting watery again." pinunasan ko ang mga luhang nagbabadyang pumatak.
I stand up and looked at the tree from bottom to top.
