Sunburnt - Itachi & Kisame X Reader

(Y/n) 's POV

"Hey! Stop it-! ACK!"

I flinch before I whirl on Hidan, but I wince at the sudden movement.

"Ha! You- Pfft! Haha HA!" Hidan struggles to even make a coherent sentence as I still myself to reduce the pain.

"Fuck you, Hidan! Deidara, can you help me get my shirt off? I need to go get the aloe," I ask the blonde, hoping he'll do as I request to minimize the hurt.

He smirks at my unfortunate situation, but hums an "un" as he gets off the couch.

I wince at every little moment, the intense burning sensation on my back and arms almost making me cry out.

"Thank you so much, Dei. I promise I'll bake you something... at a later date, heh."

"Chocolate chip cookies, un. I'll hold you to it, (Y/n)," my blue eyed friend says after handing me my damp shirt.

Now clad in only my simple sports bra and jean shorts, I stiffly make my way to Konan's room, marked with a small origami crane above the door frame.

I knock softly but firmly, the vibrations still effecting my seemingly half-cooked skin. It opens after a moment, and I almost immediately want to smack my lavender haired bestie.

She looks at me with an ill conceived smirk, amusement and pity shining in equal amounts within her eyes. She gestures me in, and I move almost robotically into her bathroom.

She brings the stool from the corner for me to sit on, and we manage to get my bra off with a minimal amount of cursing and pain.

She stares at the impressively colored sunburn that covers nearly my entire body, with the exception of where my bra was and where my shorts are currently.

As she takes out a familiar, translucent-green bottle, she says, "I will never understand how you can burn so badly, or why you have yet to learn your lesson on the topic. You want to tell me what you and Kisame were undoubtedly doing today?"

I almost, almost move to scratch the back of my neck, but I refrain. Konan is putting my hair up into a small bun when I start.

"We went down to the lake a few miles west of the village, out of the rain. Tobi and Itachi actually came as well, and there were a few village kids when we got there."

I get the chills as the cold gel makes contact with my hot skin, and it takes me a moment to adjust before I continue.

"I did, actually, put sunblock on before we left the base. I didn't think we'd stay all day, though..."

"Let me guess," Konan says, working her way to my arms after completely covering my back. "You didn't bring it with you, and the boys don't burn, so they didn't have any reason to bring some. Again, when will you learn your lesson?"

I sigh. "I know, I know. But yeah, that's what happened. And then we got into a huge water fight, everyone using ninjutsu and the kids cheering us on from the shore. It was great," I say, smiling happily. "After Kisame won, and only because Itachi wasn't using his sharingan, we were all just chilling in the excess waves. It was really fun... Until we had to run back since it was getting dark-ish. That's when I realized exactly how long I'd been in the sun. Aaaand now we're here... Thank you."
