Commander cody x reader: reunited

You're on a planet that the empire is just  starting to inhabit. You're trying to figure out if the information about what the empire is doing here is true, since you were a jedi master during the clone wars the rebellion sent you.

You're working with the ghost crew, who are waiting somewhere above the planet to pick you up.

You're also keeping an eye out for someone, your boyfriend Cody. You've heard that a clone that was well-known during the clone wars might be coming to use this planet for an imperial training center, you think it might be cody and if it is you are going to try to get him back to the rebellion.

It's been 15 years since you saw him, it was right before he left for the mission on utapau, you remember the last time you saw him clear as day. You were in the landing bay, and you had shared one last kiss before he left and never returned, It still hurts that you couldn't save him, you had felt that something was off in the force but you didn't stop him from going.

You just hope that if you do find him  you can save him this time. Right now you can see a bunch of Imperials looking around this sight but none of them are clones.

All you've heard is the Imperials talking about the academy which means that info is true, now hopefully the other info is true about cody.

You're about to leave, having not found cody when you hear a shuttle land a few meters away from where you're hiding.

You move a little closer and can see stormtroopers getting off, that's when you see him. He's older, grey hair and wrinkles showing his accelerated aging, but none of that matters to you. All that matters is that the man you love is standing 10 feet away from you and you can finally have him back.

You can't believe you actually found him, after so many years you've almost given up hope that you'd ever see him again.

You know that you have to push down you emotions till the mission is over and you have cody. It's hard, you have so many emotions swirling around right now but you need complete focus to save cody.

Now that you've found him you have to put your plan into action, the plan is to get him alone and then give him the sedative that you have on you just in case. You know it's a horrible plan but it's the best you got and besides Anakin's plans always worked out, and his were sometimes worse.

Since your in a wooded area you decide to use the force to make some sticks crack a little ways away from the sight, close enough that cody can hear it but far enough that since the stormtroopers are farther from cody the hopefully won't hear it.

You can see cody look around then turn to one of the stormtroopers. "Did you hear that soldiers?"

You see the troopers look at each other and shake their heads no. Cody Huff's something under his breath that you can't hear but from how rex is it's probably about how incompatent stormtroopers are. Then he starts walking towards the noise just like you hoped.

Once he gets close enough you run up behind him and pounce but you're not expecting him to notice you and pull his gun, you forgot how good clones reflexes are." Cody don't!" you yell pulling out your lightsaber and deflecting the shots away from you both.

You can hear the clone troopers coming towards you when a shot goes through your shoulder, you fight through the pain and stab cody with the sedative and call the ghost crew for back up.

You can see the ghost coming towards you when kanan and ezra jump out. Ezra blocks the blaster bolts as Kanan grabs cody then ezra grabs you. you all jump up on the ghost and fly off away from the stormtroopers.

Once you hit hyperspace kanan walks over and start bandaging your wound. You yourself are frozen where you sit, now that you aren't fighting you can think about what just happened. Cody your boyfriend who you love more than anything just shot you, you had known going in that the chip had control and you knew that cody would hurt you if he had the chance, but you never wanted to believe that he would actually shoot you, you don't now what to think right now.

You also know how guilty he's going to feel once the chips out, you're going to have to make sure cody doesn't blame himself for any of the things he did.

Once you get back to the rebellion cody gets pulled into surgery to remove the chip, you still can't believe that you have him back after all these years but you're scared. You have no idea if cody even still loves you after so long since you were only dating for two years during the clone wars.

You hear your name called and walk up to the medic that called you."is he okay?" You ask, knowing that he might not have made it through the surgery.

"He's perfectly fine, he's already awake and his vitals are good, you can go visit him if you'd like."

You nod to the medic and start heading to the room he's in, once you get there you walk into the room and see him freeze when he see's you.

As soon as you see him all your emotions break loose and you start sobbing, you sit down on his bed and wrap you arms around him, minding his head.

You can hear cody quietly start sobbing to, he's trying to stop and be strong to no avail. You can feel him hug you tightly like if he lets you go you'll disappear, your doing the same thing.

You can feel cody try to pull away but you just hug him tighter, not wanting to let him go and when he does pull away it's just to put his forehead against yours.

"I missed you." He whispers softly to and you can hear how much he means it.

"I missed you to, so much." You say as you run his cheek, feeling his rough stubble then you see his eyes flash to your shoulder as guilt flashes in them. You put your hands on either side of his face and look him in the eyes.

"It wasn't your fault cody, the chip made you."

"I could have killed you, I would have never forgiven myself if I had." You can see tears in his eyes as he tells you this.

"But you didn't cody and I've already forgiven you."

He looks at you and you can tell that he doesn't believe you, so you pull his face down towards yours and give him a soft, sweet kiss.

He looks at you as if he can't believe that you're kissing him, which he probably doesn't

"You still love me? even after so long."

"I'll love you no matter what Cody."

You look at him and can see the doubt in his eyes. You start tracing his scar with your fingertips, just like you used to." No matter what age you are I will always love you cody." You tell him, knowing that he was always scared that you would leave him because of his aging.

He leans into your fingers and looks at you lovingly and relieved, and at this point you know that no matter how much everything has changed and how much older you both are that you both are going to be alright.

That everything will be alright.
