Chapter Four

Three days later, it was Sunday and Bella and Nick was getting ready to go to her parents for dinner.

"I don't want to go," Bella said.

"Baby it will be okay, I'll be right there with you as will Alex and Amber," Nick said.

"Please don't leave my side for anything," Bella said.

"I promise baby," Nick said. They left and went to her parents' house.

"Ready baby?" Nick asked.

"I guess so," Bella said.

"It will be okay, I'm right here with you, if it gets bad, we will leave okay," Nick said.

"Promise?" Bella asked.

"I promise, baby," Nick said. They went to the door and she knocked and they walked in and closed the door and walked into the living room and saw her parents there with another couple and a guy. Bella looked at Nick.

"Mother," Bella said.

"Oh Bella, honey, you remember the Carsons', Robert and Sandy, and this is their son, Derek," Carla said.

"Mom I told you," Bella said.

"I know you did, but I couldn't be rude and cancel," Carla said.

"Robert, Sandy, Derek, this is Nick, my boyfriend," Bella said.

"Oh Carla, you were right, she is as beautiful as you said, perfect for our son," Sandy said.

"Mom!" Derek said.

"Sandy!" Robert said.

"I'm sorry, did you not hear me, this is my BOYFRIEND, I'm not available for anyone, I'm very involved with Nick here, we are actually living together now, we are sharing a bed," Bella said.

"Well my dear daughter, that ends now, you will come here and sit with Derek and get to know him and Nick can go on home,"Carla said.

"If I leave, so does Bella," Nick said.

"Let's just go home now, goodbye Mother," Bella said.

"BELLA!" Carla yelled.

"Let her go, Carla," Jack said.

"Jack," Carla said.

"No Carla, enough is enough, you can't see that she is with Nick, you are so determined to get her with Derek, but she already has a boyfriend," Jack said.

"She's just faking it to get back at me," Carla said.

"Bullshit, this relationship is real, Carla, I've been in love with your daughter since I first saw her!" Nick said.

"I'm sorry but I can't be here, I'm sorry, Dad, let's go babe," Bella said. She pulled Nick out the door and they walked to the car. Alex and Amber pulled up.

"Sis?" Alex asked.

"Can't stay," Bella said.

"What did she do," Alex said. Bella told them what happened. Alex stormed into the house. Amber hugged Bella.

"How did you and Alex end up with her as your mother," Amber said.

"I think we must have been adopted," Bella said. Alex came out storming mad.

"Let's go guys," Alex said. They got into their cars and left and went to dinner and went to Nick and Bella's house.

"Bro?" Bella asked.
