Chapter Seventeen

Three weeks later, things began falling apart for the threesome. Nick and Ben did more with each other than they did with her. There were times they would ignore her and do things together. She felt like they were just keep her around for the baby's sake. She often though they would be married to each other and just wanted the baby once it was born and they would leave her. She would be sitting at her desk while Nick and Ben were locked in Nick's office and she could hear them in there. Everyone was out of the office for the cases they were working on. She put her hand on her stomach and rubbed it as tears fell down her cheeks. She got her things and went out the door. She went home and packed a couple bags and took off her rings and put them on the counter in the kitchen and turned off the location on her phone and got in her car and turned off the location on it and drove out of the city. She drove for hours as she cried. She arrived in a small town four hours later. She checked into a small bed and breakfast and paid cash and went to her room and closed the door and locked it and put her bags down and laid on the bed and curled up and sobbed softly. Her heart broke when she was leaving but she felt it was best. Her phone beeped and she saw text messages from them.

"Baby where are you?" Nick texted.

"Where did you go, love?" Ben texted. She shook her head and ignored them and laid there staring at the ceiling. Her phone beeped.

"Baby, I found your rings, you left us?" Nick texted.

"Bels, why did you leave?" Ben texted.

"Bella, baby come home," Nick texted.

"Bels, come back to us," Ben texted. She turned off her phone and cried softly. She fell asleep crying.

Nick sat there at the kitchen counter holding her rings in his hands. Ben sat there beside him.

"It's our fault, we drove her away," Ben said.

"What do you mean bro?" Nick said.

"We did more stuff with each other than with her, we pretty much ignored her, who knows what she was thinking," Ben said.

"Oh god," Nick said.

"She might have thought we were keeping her here for the baby and would push her out once the baby was born," Ben said.

"I could never do that," Nick said.

"Nick, I think we should end the triad and you get your wife back and I go find my own," Ben said.

"Bro," Nick said.

"Nick, she is your wife, legally, this thing between us is what pushed her to leave, a marriage is between two people, we had our fun, it's time for me to find a wife and have a family," Ben said.

"I guess you are right," Nick said.

"Now I'm calling the crew over and we are going to find your wife," Ben said. Nick nodded and held the rings as tears fell down his cheeks. Ben made the call. Soon everyone arrived and Ben explained what's happened. They all saw Nick sitting there holding the rings and crying.

"Guys, looks like we are going on some trips," Chris said.

"I checked to see if I could locate her with our family locator and it looks like she turned them off," Alex said.

"I guess she doesn't want to be found," Amber said.

"Let's go, we should search any small towns within four hours from here," Kenny said.

"Let's go," Ashley said.

"Nick, you stay here in case she decides to comeback," Ben said. Nick nodded and they all left. He got out his phone and sent a text to her.

"I love you my wife, more than life, I can't lose you, I never want to lose you, you are my life, please come home baby, I need you in my arms, Ben and I talked, we figured out why you left, I'm sorry baby, we decided to end the triad completely and Ben is going to find him his own family, from now on, it's just you and me if you come home, I love you more than life," Nick texted.

Bella sat in bed reading that text message. She knew what she had to do. She put her hand on her stomach. The baby kicked and she smiled.

"I guess you agree, we go home to Daddy," Bella said. She got her stuff together and checked out and headed home. She pulled into the driveway and got out as Nick came running out of the house and saw her and he ran to her and took her into his arms and buried his face in her neck.

"Oh god baby don't ever leave me again, please don't leave me again, I love you so much," Nick said.

"I won't, I'm sorry, I just felt like I wasn't wanted anymore," Bella said.

"Oh god baby, I will always want you," Nick said. They went inside and he sent a text to everyone telling them she came home. He locked up and took her hand and slid the rings back on her finger.

"Never take those off again, baby, I can't lose you," Nick said. He lifted her up and carried her upstairs to the bedroom and laid her on the bed and removed her clothes and his and he gazed at her body. He crawled over her and kissed her deeply. He slowly slid inside her body and they moved together. He laid on his back and he began riding him. He massaged her breasts. He caressed her stomach.

"Our baby is in here, we are going to be the best parents to this little one, just you and me," Nick said.

"You and me," Bella said. They came together and she laid beside him and he held her close and kissed her deeply. She explained what went through her mind. He shook his head.

"We would never have done that, you are the baby's mother, the three of us would have raised the baby together, we never would have pushed you out completely, we are sorry for making you feel ignored, we never meant for that to happen, we just couldn't stop wanting each other, but now we have our eyes open, you are more important than anything," Nick said.

"I love you," Bella said.

"I love you, it's just you and me baby," Nick said.

"You and me, okay, I will miss being a triad," Bella said.

"I know, baby, me too but it's for the best," Nick said. They kissed and made love again before falling asleep in each other's arms.
