Why Don't' We's last concert may be the most emotional one that they have ever given. Cheers and cries are heard song after song, knowing that it will be the last time they will sing it together as a group. However, there are times where there is tension amongst the member. Some were 'accidentally' pushing the other ones. The rest just rolls their eyes or looks to the crowd when a certain member is singing. But no one notices since they are too caught up with their emotions.
Corbyn makes true of his promise. He is wearing the zodiac bracelet the entire concert, glancing at Ysabelle from time to time. She does not think about it too much. She would always get stares and looks from the members whenever they sing in front of her, a barricade separating her from the stage.
"Thank you for everyone who supported us from the beginning," Daniel starts off. This is it. Their farewell speech.
"When we started as a band, the future was very fogy. We did not expect anything but to be heard through our songs. But ya'll made us who we are today," he finishes, sobs vibrating the arena.
"To our Limelights, we could not have done this without you. Your love and support gave us the platform to sing and share our lives. We will never forget you," Jonah adds, stopping himself from crying.
"I became a member of Why Don't We when I was 16 years old. I seriously grew up with you guys. I am so proud that I get to be the man you all want me to be. You raised me to become a better person. For that, I thank you," Zach says with his voice cracking.
"You are our inspiration. Our energy. Our shield. Our number one cheerleader. Thank you for making our dreams come true. You made our lives meaningful and out of this world. You will always be with me," Jack states, his eyes actually tearing up.
"You are truly one of a kind. Even if we don't know your names individually, just approach us anytime. Just say that you are a Limelight and we will hug you so tight, you cannot breathe," Corbyn says, looking at you when he enunciated 'Limelight,' remembering the encounter you had with them last night. You start to bawl another river.
"You are our lives. My heart is immensely grateful for the love you showed us. We are terribly sorry that this dream has come to an end. Everything does. But remember, we are one call away. Our songs will forever live in your Spotify or iTunes whenever you need something to pick you up. We know that we are always in your hearts, as a band or not," the blonde singer ends, his eyes red after crying during his speech.
"With that, let us go back to the very beginning," Daniel says, their song Taking You shaking the arena.
Everyone jumps and sings their hearts out. It does not matter if they will lose their voices tomorrow. What matters is to show their love and admiration to the band for one last time.
The song ends with a huge roar of applauses and shouts. The band runs up to each other, hugging everyone as a few are already crying. Finally, they form into a line and gives a long bow to their fans. With that, Why Don't We has disbanded.
Ysabelle almost forgets the favor Corbyn asked after the concert. Once she is finished retouching her makeup from crying, she lets her hair down and leaves the rest room. She has no idea how is Jon going to look for her. She stands at the doors of the main hall, making sure to peel her eyes open for the manager.
"Excuse me. Are you Ysabelle?" a man comes to her her, his features being very familiar to WDW's fans.
"Yes!" she replied rather too excited.
"That is good. Come with me, "he replied monotonously.
The girl follows quietly, keeping her pace up since Jon is walking too fast. They pass every security with ease. It is only a short walk but the woman is out of breath for some reason.
Finally, they arrive at what seem to be the dressing room of Why Don't We. The place is a mess.
Food is everywhere. A lot of plates and glasses are shattered on the floor. Confetti is scattered around the place. The boy group surely celebrates rather chaotically.
Ysabelle leans on the side of the door way, scanning the room for a familiar place. Aside from the four members, four girls are also sitting on a black couch, talking excitedly, and not noticing her enter the room.
Out of the blue, Corbyn shows up from a black curtain. Their eyes instantly meet and he smiles. He walks towards her with much speed while Ysabelle stands still, her heart about to leave her chest.
"Hey Bella! How was our speech?" he asks, shoving his pockets to his jeans.
"I cried, of course. It was beautiful," she answers, trying her to not stutter. He chuckles as a response and proceed to clear his throat.
"So, the management is throwing us an intimate party for our final concert," he explains, acting shyly once again.
"They also told us that we can bring plus ones from the crowd and I instantly thought of you!" he says rather proudly, grinning like there was no tomorrow.
"Come again?" she inquires, blinking rapidly and thinking that her ears are deceiving her.
"Do you want to come to our party as my date?" this time, he is confident.
"I think I am going to jump out of a plane without a parachute," Ysabelle says, stuttering once again while laughing awkwardly.
"Don't. You still have to be my Limelight tonight."
