It's been 4 days since Samuel and I hung out. If I'm being completely honest, I don't know where we stand in our relationship. We haven't really talked about the topic of what we really are right now. Sometimes I just wanna ask him point blank, but I'm still nervous to know the answer. What if he says that this trip is just a way for us to get closure? So we can both move on with our lives. We never really got into a relationship after us. But both of us are so open in admitting that we missed each other. Still so far we haven't had much physical intimacy. Not even a kiss, not even on the cheeks. So how am I supposed to go about that?
Right now I'm waiting at the hotel lobby for him. He says he just have to go out for a quick errand. Something to do with a client he closed here. He came back after 15 minutes but went to his room really fast to drop something off. We're going to the beach today. It's been 6 days since we've stayed here and we only went to the beach once. Right now we're just staying by the sand, neither of us are in the mood to swim since it's also mid-day. We just want to enjoy the breeze by the shore.
A couple minutes later he was already walking towards me.
Samuel: Sorry, did I take too long?
Carla: Kind of. But it's fine.
Samuel: Okay, let's go enjoy our last day.
He held my hand and we started walking out to the beachfront. What did he mean by our last day? Is this really a trip for us to get some closure? I was just quiet the entire time we were walking towards the water. We stopped by the shore and sat there while I sat in between his legs.

Samuel: You're awfully quiet since we left the hotel. Something bothering you?
The fact that you said it's our last day is bothering me. What does this even mean? I shook my head but he didn't believe me.
Samuel: Come on, just tell me.
Carla: it's just that, you said it's our last day. Kind of a double meaning don't you think?
Samuel: What meanings are you thinking of?
Carla: Our last day here in LA or Our last day together.
Samuel: I'll answer that later, but for now can we just enjoy the moment?
We remained like this in peace. I relaxed myself and leaned on his body as he wrapped his arm around me then kissed me on the forehead.
