Nathaniel's POV

Daniella coming into my life had been the best thing ever until it became my worst nightmare.

We had planned our lives together,we were going to have two dogs,three children and live our lives happily.She had never had to do anything by herself since we got married,I hired maids to cook,she had everything on a silver platter
Imagine my surprise when I came home and met her packing,I demanded an explanation from her and she told me she was going to her high school boyfriend.

Sitting in my office I recall our conversation.I remember walking into our bedroom expecting a kiss from my wife but instead I got the shock of my life
"Honey why are are you packing your bags"

"Am leaving Nathan,am sorry but I can't do this anymore"

"Why"I was shocked I couldn't understand what she was saying,I knew Daniella liked to pull my legs but in my heart I knew that something wrong was about to happen.

"Am pregnant Nathan and the baby is not yours I don't love you anymore"I was speechless, I could not believe my ears,I was not ready to face it,I tried denying everything that I heard but she continued.

"You remember Sage my highschool boyfriend he is the father of my baby and I love him"her eyes light up when she said Sage's name

"Keep quiet,you cheated on me i don't even want to look at your face right now,you...you slut,I gave you everything you ever asked for and this is how you repay me?I love you Daniella,I fucking love you,you can't do this to me I can't possibly live without you, Daniella we will take care of this baby together you can't leave me,I will give you anything you want"I was on the verge of tears,I didn't want to lose her.

"Nathan I know you are angry but if you really love me you will allow me to leave,I will mail the divorce papers to you"she kisses my cheeks and leaves.

Daniella took a part of me when she left, Travis my best friend comes into my office takes a look at my face and he knew that I was thinking about Daniella.

"What the fuck dude it has been like what three years since the bitch left"Daniella and Travis never saw eye to eye but because she was my wife he showed her some respect.Travis has always supported me,his parents treated me like their son,and since the day she left he had always called her bitch
"Fuck off dude,why are you here?"I raise my hand upward to stretch my sore muscles.

"I came to see you.By the way your new secretary is hot"

"Stay away from her Travis"

"Killjoy,mum said you should come for dinner this night"

"Okay,now get out"

He laughs and mumbles something."What did u say"

"I said I was just leaving"
Travis leaves and I check the time and see that I only had three hours left

"Fucking bastard I mutter under my breath"I knew Mrs Palmer must have told him about the dinner in the morning but his sorry ass decided to tell me now,I do all the necessary things and I leave the office

Knocking on Mrs Palmer's door.the door is opened by Hannah,who hugs me when she opens the door. Hannah has always had a huge crush and she never fails to hide it even her mother thought it was cute. Hannah was sixteen years,she was the youngest child of the family.
"Mum look who is hear"she shouts to her mother who was pretty much in the kitchen

Mrs Palmer comes to the door and drags me in."my boy you have grown so big,you don't even visit anymore,I am angry with you,I never get to see your face anymore"

"Mrs Palmer"she swats my hand with the towel in her hand and raises an eyebrow at me

"Stella you know that I have been busy with work"

"You are always glued to your work you should always find some time to rest.Travis is just like you"I see Mr Palmer sitting on a rock chair and I greet him

"Good evening John"He grunts in return having been engrossed in the game that he is watching.

"Ooh so he gets to be called John while I always remind you to call me Stella,John,I am going to kill your son Travis when he gets here he hasn't even reached here yet and he knows the time that we have our dinner"she starts to cry.

Stella has always been overdramatic,she worries over little things.

"Mum am here you don't need to cry,i am right here,am sorry for arriving late I had a lot to do at home"

"Travis Jamie Palmer"

"Oh oh"when she uses your full name you know something bad is about to happen.

"When I die Ivy,Hannah and Nathan are the only name is that will be on my will,you won't get anything, what if it was an emergency and I needed an kidney transplant."She shouts"Mum stop being dramatic and you won't die am not your only child Ivy and Hannah will be happy to give you their kidney"

"Everyone dinner is served" Travis elder sister Ivy yells out from the kitchen.

John finally acknowledges us when the game is finished."Nathan,Travis how have you been"

"Fine John...Dad"we both reply at the say time.

"John I am going to throw the television outside you are always watching"John walks up to her and kisses her

"Ewww, mum dad your teenage daughter is here."

"Get used to it Hannah" John says grinning at Stella.

"Travis I told mum I was going to kill you when you came here"Ivy whispers angrily.

"I don't need your drama Ivy,I have already heard enough from mum."

Travis family has always been close,I lost my parents to a car accident when I was just sixteen and I worked get hard to be where I am,I was given scholarship to study at Oxford and that was when I met Travis and we became best friends,he introduced me to his family and they had always been nice to me.

"Hmm it smell delicious"Hannah who has always wanted to impress me says "Nathan I helped in making the dessert you would love it"

We gathered at the dining table ate,and discussed many things which consisted of Ivy teasing Travis and Hannah telling about the things going on in her school.
