"Mama,I loved the aeroplane,can we go back inside?"Grace asks,"I hope we never gets to enter it again"I mutter under my breath"
Grace keeps on rambling about how much she loved the aeroplane while I thought about how our life was going to be from that moment,I was so worried about Mason finding out where I was so I registered our ticket with my maiden name and made a new passport,I didn't want to go through that pain again, I knew that if he finds me the consequences will be dire. I could not let Grace suffer like that,she has suffered enough as it is"
"Mum I am so tired where are we going to stay "I knew Grace was exhausted because she did not sleep a wink when we entered the plane. "Love we are almost there."
After walking for an hour I finally got to the house that I rented"mama are we going to stay here?"Grace asks,I see a young girl and I call her, "Excuse me I am here to see Mr Claremont,I rented a house and..."
"Ohh are you Mrs Anderson?"she asks"yes"I answer shocked that she knew me
"I am Shannon Claremont,my father has been expecting you, I will just grab the keys to your apartment and bring them to you"I sigh when she leaves and hold Grace closer to myself.
Shannon returns later with the key and she shows me my apartment.
"My dad will be coming to see you later" she turns around about to leave but I stop her,"Shannon do you know of any place where I can work am in desperate need of a job"I ask."No but if I hear about one you will be the first person I tell"
Grace grabs my attention when I see her waving her hand angrily in my direction"my poor little baby mummy is not ignoring you, Shannon this is my daughter Grace Anderson"Shannon crouches down to Grace height "you have a pretty name,I am Shannon"Grace grins widely showing off her missing tooth."you have a pretty name also,mama am sleepy"Shannon stands up and turns to Leave "see you around Mrs Anderson"then she leaves.
"Grace you need to bath so you can sleep"she frowns when she hears the word bath"mum I don't want to bath, I want to sleep."I carry her and take her to the bathroom."

"Hey baby,Grace wake up,rise and shine it's a brand new day"I say as I tapped her in order to wake her up.
"Mama where are we?"She asks sleepily
"Grace have you forgotten about the plane so easily,you were so happy yesterday that you couldn't stop talking about it but you have forgotten about the plane we took to get here."
"Oh mama,I remember we are on a vacation" she shouts excitedly "but mama when is daddy going to join us?"I tense up at the mention of Mason's name"Baby we will never get to see Daddy again we are going to stay here forever."I raised my hand upward and caress her cheek"You don't need daddy,I will be there for you,you will make new friends,you will go to a new school and you will have all the friends you want,now you must be hungry go the bathroom, take care of yourself ,am going to make breakfast,we have to go out"
"Ok mama"she says and leaves for the bathroom.
I hear a knock at the door and rush to open it. I see Shannon standing there when I open it.
"Good afternoon Miss Anderson"I open the door widely and she enters.
"Good afternoon Shannon and you can call me Grace."
"My friend,told me about this job down the street, it's a coffee shop,they need a waitress urgently."she says.
"Thanks Shannon,I really appreciate,how can I get there?"
" You are welcome,the first shop you see when you walk down the street that's the shop." She checks her watch"The interview starts at 9am,you have to hurry,you have an hour left,I have to leave for school now,tell Grace I said hi"she waves and leaves.
"Hurry up Grace,we have to leave"I make her breakfast and she comes down.
"Grace you will be a good girl and do all what I ask you to do so I can make money, you will be able to resume school when I make enough money."I say to her sternly.
"Yes mama,I will do as you say"I ruffle her hair"go and have your breakfast,I will pack your bag for you."

"Mama where are we going to?"she asks
"I have a job interview,Grace you have to walk faster than that"
"Mama I want you to carry me" She stretches her hand to my direction,so I lift her up and she grins.
I spot the Coffee shop and rush to the shop. I enter the shop and I walk to the cashier,"Am here for a job interview,who will I speak to?"she rolls her eyes and points to a office by the corner "Go there,our manager is inside, he is the one that you will speak to,who is this"she points at Grace "you can't take the girl,she can sit over there"she point to a chair by the corner.
"Okay thanks"I take Grace to the chair but she protests.
"Mama I don't want to leave you"
"I will be right back baby,just stay here for mummy okay, don't go anywhere,I love you,you have to stay right here"
"But mama"she protests.
"You will be a good girl and we will have ice cream,Thai is if you stay here like a good girl,mama has to work do you understand?"
"Yes mama."she says
"That's my girl,we will get ice cream once am done,I love you"
"Pinky promise mama,I love you to"she holds up her pinky finger and I connect mine with hers.
"Pinky promise baby but if you leave this place you won't get any ice cream"I kiss her cheek and walk to the manager's office.I lift my hand to knock but the girl asks me to enter without knocking so I entered.
