Scarlett's POV

"Grace was so excited whey she entered her school gate this morning,she did not even glance my way,she was so excited."Robert laughs."I bet you already miss her"a sigh escapes my lips."oh Robert,I miss her so much it feels as if she has been gone for years."Roberto laughs obviously finding my misery funny."I once felt that way with my Lorenne,my wife had to drag her from my hand before I could let go of her,I was a blubbering mess but now she is all grown up and married, before you know it,Grace would be all grown up and ready to live her own life."

"I just want her to always remain my little girl."Robert smiles."since today is your last day of working here,I got you a little something."he hands over a wrapped box to me."you didn't have to Robert"he always my arm."hush with that and open the box."I open the box and am shocked at what I find inside"you shouldn't have Robert"I say."nonsense you obviously needed it,now you can call me whenever you like,I also got something for Grace,he goes to the closet and comes out with a piggy bank."Gives this to Grace for me,her very own piggy bank."

The door chimes indicating someone has entered the shop and a woman comes to where we are standing behind the counter and she hugs Robert and kisses him. She looks at me and Beams but I was confused about who she was."Scarlett this is my wife Marielle, Marielle this is Scarlett."she reaches over and hugs me."oh it's so good to finally meet you Robert has said so much about you,thanks for helping us."then she pulls back and smiles."Robert has told me so much about you also,you don't need to thank you,I was very happy while working here."she reaches into her bag and pulls a card out and she grabs my hand and put the card in my hand.

"I know you have not figured out where you will work yet so you should call that number,my friend's son needs an housekeeper and I think you would be perfect for the job.just call that number and asks for the time of the interview."i smile that was probably the best news I have heard all day."Thanks Marielle."

Grace could not stop talking about her classmates and teacher when we got home,she was so happy  whey she saw the piggy bag,I was very sure her cheeks was hurting from how wide she was smiling she eventually got tired of talking so she went to play with her toys.

I pick up my phone and i dial Samantha's number she answers on the second ring.

"Hello Samantha it's me Scarlett"

"Scarlett"she yells so loud that I had to place the phone far away from my ear.

"What the hell Sam,I still need my hear"she huffs into the phone."Scarlett I am so angry with you why did you not call me,I was so worried,it took you this long to call me"I laughs and that seems to anger her more because she starts ranting about what a bad friend I was."Calm down Sami just got a phone today,my boss gave it to me as a present today was my final day of working there."

"What,why? did you do something?"she asks."oh my God Scar how many things did you break this time, you were always so clumsy."

"Calm down Sam,I did not break anything,I was paid to work for two months,his wife gave me a card with a number to call"I say."Do you know this person what if the person is a serial killer"I laugh"Samantha I am sure Marielle wouldn't make me work with a serial killer and the name on the card says"Travis Palmer."she screams."oh my God Scar,that man is a freaking billionaire,he is basically swimming in money,he is so hot,Evey girl will probably melt at the sight of him."

"I heard that babe"someone shouts from the background."I love you"Sam shouts back.

"You should definitely shag him Scar"she whispers.

"Don't go there Sam,who was that man"

"Oh Phillip he is my fiancee"she realizes her mistake and I was sure she was covering her mouth with her palm.

Samantha was not a relay person the longest relationship she has ever had lasted for one month and the boy was lucky it lasted for one month.

"Samantha when did this happen,why did you not tell me."

"Look who is talking,you didn't have a phone dummy"she says playfully."he must be so good for you to say yes to his proposal tell me about him."

"He is so perfect Scar,he proposed last week,I was over the moon when he proposed,he is nice and he loves me so much and I love him also Scar"

I remember feeling that way when Mason proposed and I didn't want the same fate for Samantha."Be careful Samantha,if he does anything to you don't hesitate to show him his place"

"Scar not every man is like Mason,you should know that Scar,Mason was a psycho."she says."speaking of Mason,I have something to tell you Scar."she says sounding concerned."Mason knows that you called me Scar he said I should tell you hi the next time you call,and I was at a restaurant when I picked your call the last time,I don't know if Mason was in the restaurant you have to be more careful Scar. i am worried"

"Sam I am okay,you don't need to worry,he probably said it because he knew that I would have spoken to you.Grace and I are perfectly fine."

"Speaking of Grace,how is she?"she asks."She is okay she started going to school today,she was so excited."

"Is she with you."she asks"Yes,Grace come here you aunt Sam wants to talk to you."she runs to me and grabs the phone from my hands."Aunt Sam"she shouts,I can't hear what Sam was asking but she kept answering with fine then she starts talking about her friends from school and the things she did in school."Bye aunt Sam."she says,drops the Phone on the body and rubs off.i pick the phone from the bed.

"Damn,I was not that excited when I started going to school."she says."you were never excited about school Sam."she laughs."Scar I have to go now my Philip needs me,I will talk to you later."I hang up and I lay down on the bed.

Grace was happy and that was the only thing I wanted.if she was happy,I was happy.
