Scarlett's POV

"Scarlett,I have something to tell you."Simone said grabbing my attention.

"What?"I asked.

"Scarlett, George and Annie are going to stay here for two weeks,their parents are going for their anniversary."

I raised my brow in confusion and she explained further.

"They are Travis's niece and nephew,their mother is his elder sister,they always stay here whenever their parents are going for their anniversary."she explained and I nodded my head in understanding.

"They are going to stay in the guest room,I hope you have cleaned it?"she asked with a frown.

"Yes Simone,I cleaned the room when you asked me to this morning."I answered.

"When are they going to be here?"I asked.

"I don't know, Travis was supposed to bring them here but their mother said they were coming here with Nathan. Nathan is their uncle. Travis does not know that they are coming here,I am sure that Travis has forgotten that the children will be here today.he has been avoiding his sister's calls."she said.

"We are going to have our hands full with the children,I can't wait to see them."she said grinning excitedly.

"Where is Grace?"she asked."she will be so excited when she sees the children,I know she has been so lonely lately,she will have someone to play with.they will have so much fun together."

"She is asleep Simone and I am sure she will be happy to see the children."

Grace was always playing with her toys on her own whenever I was busy,the children coming here will be good for her.

"Scarlett,take these Clothes to Travis room."

Picking up Travis folded clothes I retreated to his room.

"Scarlett,thank God you are here,I was about to call you,bring tea for me,I will be in my study room,I have work to do."

"Okay Travis."I placed the clothes in his closet and I left for the kitchen.

"I will be in the kitchen Simone."I said "I have to make tea for Travis,he is in his study room."

"Okay,the..."

The door bell interrupts what she is about to say and she smiles at me.

"I will get the door,go to the kitchen and make the tea."she said.

I was able to hear voices from the sitting room but I was unable to make out what they were saying.

Simone walked into the kitchen beaming and holding the hands of two children.she carried the children and placed them on the counter.

"Scarlett this is George and Annie."she said."George, Annie this is Scarlett,she is the housekeeper,you can go to her if you need anything."Simone said and they greeted me simultaneously.

"Scarlett,their things are outside,you should also make tea for Travis's friend,he is with Travis in the study room."she said.

"Okay."i replied.

"You should take their things to their room when you are done."

"Aunt Simone the cupcakes."George whined.

"I am coming George."

Knocking on the door,I entered when I hear Travis voice instructing me to.

It was really hard for me to hold the tray after I opened the door without it falling.

"Scarlett."I glanced up at the mention of my name.

"I brought tea, Simone told me your friend was here with you,so I brought tea for your friend also."I said.

"Put it down Scarlett."he replied.

I put the tray on his desk and I turn about to leave when I spot a man standing by the corner of the room.

I squint my eyes to get a better view of the man and I was shocked to find the man who found Grace standing there.

Without me worrying about Grace,I took a better look at him,he was quite handsome,I was very sure he found me rude with the way I was staring at him.

"Thank you Scarlett,you may leave now."I smiled at the man and left the room.

I was feeling so embarrassed when I left the room,I couldn't believe I was staring at him like that.

  Grace and George were eating the cupcakes when I walked into the kitchen while Simone was trying to stop them from getting it on their clothes.

"Where are their bags Simone?"

"Their bags are in the sitting room,take it to their room,and check if Grace has woken up so she can meet Grace and Annie."Simone said when I entered the kitchen.

"Okay Simone."

When I entered the room,Grace was awake with her toys scattered around her on the bed.

"Grace why did you not come downstairs when you woke up?"I asked.

"You were busy mama,I did not want to disturb you."she replied.

"Are you through with what you are doing?"

"Yes mama."I grabbed her hand."Follow me,there are some people you have to meet downstairs."

"Who are they?she asked."are they from my school."

"You will know when you see them Grace."she huffed impatiently and stood up from the bed.

"You will clean up all this toys and put them in your box before you sleep tonight,I have told you not to play with your toys on the bed."

"I am sorry mama,I will put them in my box now."

"No,you will do it later, follow me."she nodded her head and we left the room together.

I could hear the children loud chatter from the stairs and I could tell Grace was excited to meet them.

"George,Annie"Simone called and they both turned to her.

"This is Grace,she is Scarlett's daughter."Simone said and they smiled.

"Grace,this is Annie and George,they are Travis nephew and niece and they will be staying with us for two weeks."

"Hi"Grace said smiling.

"Hi"They replied.

"Do you want to see my toys?Grace asked they nodded and ran off.

"Nathan has left,he said he might come back to see the children."

"Okay Simone."
