Scarlett's POV

I was currently sitting at the pack watching Grace play while I was talking with Samantha bon the phone.

"I can't believe you didn't see him Scar."Samantha whines,"I was expecting all the details from you,if he was not in the house then who interviewed you?"she asks"His cook Simone,she was really nice and she said I will be living there,I will be going home every Saturday."she gasps."oh my God Scar,you get to live with Mr hot and Incredible but what about Grace,will she stay with you?"

"I don't know that yet Sam,she said she will discuss it with Mr Palmer then she will let me know his decision."she squeals."It will be so fun,is not everyday you get you get to work in a billionaire's house,you said something about a pool you should definitely try it out,and the library,I know you love reading,Grace will be so excited,you have to take pictures and send them to me,you must tell me everything."she squealed."calm down Samantha,I will take pictures and send them to you if I am allowed to do so and i won't take the job if he doesn't allow Grace to start with me."

"Are you crazy Scar"she yells,"Don't you have anybody she can stay with,I am sure Robert will be happy to take care of her for you,from what you have told me he seems nice,what about your neighbors, I am sure they will be happy to help."she says.

"I don't trust anybody with my Grace."

"Scarlett"she says worriedly."Not everyone is like Mason,you have to know that Scar, Mason is just an asshole and I am sure Robert is nothing like him,you said it yourself,he is a nice man."she says."Mason was also nice when I met him Sam."I shove my eyes in my jeans pocket.

"I can't believe you are saying this,what has gotten into you Scarlett "she groans in annoyance."you can't continue thinking like that Scarlett."

"I don't want to talk about it anymore Sam and I can't possibly make Robert watch Grace do you know the stress he would go through,he has to pick Grace from school and you know how she is,she won't stay put,I can't do that to him.if Grace is not allowed to stay with me,I am not taking the job."I said and she laughed."calm down Scar,you don't need to get all defensive."she said still laughing."Scar,where will you get another place to work if you don't accept the job,you have to think about Grace also."I shrug but later realize that she wasn't there with me."I don't know what to do Sam,I am tired and frustrated."

"Scar you know that I will always be here for you right?if you need be anything don't hesitate to tell me,I will be glad to help,I know you are strong Scar,you managed to take care of Grace on your own and I know how she is."she says and I laugh."Thank you Sam,I really appreciate that."

"What are friends for, enough of all that Scar,how is my little monster?"she asks.

"She is fine Sam,she really misses you."she laughs."I miss her also,this place is not the same without you."

"Enough talk about me Sam,how was your day."

"It was fun Scar,Philip and I went to watch movies and we went shopping,you would love him Scar."

"I am still so shocked about the fact that you are getting married Sam,you must really love Philip to take such a big step."

"I love him so much Scarlett,he is so perfect,there were times we had problems in our relationship,but he stood by me Scar."I laugh."Look at you being all lovey dovey,do you know how many boys heart you have shattered."

"Stop making fun of me Scarlett,I regret doing those things."

"Do you remember Daniel?he came rushing out of your house with snot and tears on his face."she laughs."you were terrible Samantha."

"I remember him."she laughs."He got some of the snot on my body,It took hours before he finally left the house,I basically had to kick him out,it was a terrible experience,my top was wet from this tears."we laugh."He has a new girl friend now."

"Seth got it pretty bad,he stalked you for days after you broke up with him."I say and she laughs."At least you got flowers on your doorstep every morning."

"It was sweet at first Scar but waking up to see bunch of flowers on your doorstep is not so sweet when you see it on your doorstep every morning,I had to give some of the flowers to my neighbors."I laugh."It was so annoying."

"How did you and Philip meet."I ask

"I tripped and he caught me."

"Really?"she laughs."No Scar I am not clumsy,you are the clumsy one,I could definitely picture you tripping but that's a no no for me.we net in the most terrible way possible."I laugh."I will have you know that I am no longer clumsy."she gasps."why do I find that hard to believe."

"I am serious Sam,don't change the topic,you have to tell me how you met Mr perfect."

"Don't laugh,I am serious Scar don't laugh"she says "I understand Scar,I won't laugh."

"We met in a bar, Charlotte was heartbroken,she just went through a breakup so Sara and I took her to the bar,she pointed to a man and said he was the one that broke up with her.I walked to Philip and insulted him,I called him a fool,I called him names I can't even remember some of them,he didn't even utter a word while I insulted him,he was quiet and he was smirking,Sara walked up to me and dragged me away from there,turns out I insulted the wrong person,I was so embarrassed."I laugh."Scarlett"she whines."you promised not to laugh."I am sorry... continue."

I glance up and spots Grace running towards me."Sam hold on,I think Grace needs something."Grace runs up to me and  smiles."Are you having fun."she nods her head."Yes mama,I am having fun,but I am so hungry."

"Hold on,I have some cookies in your bag,let me grab it."she grins when I give her the cookies."Thanks mama"she says and runs off.

"You can continue now Sam."I say and she groans."I was so embarrassed I drank so much that night.i did not see him for three days,I later saw him at the gym and I avoided him but he saw me and walked up to me,I apologized quickly but he said he won't accept my apology until I went with him on a date and I agreed so that's it."

"Typical you,you are the only one that I knew that could walk up to a guy and insult him what if he was a gangster."she laughs."Philip looks nothing like a gangster."

"Would you recognize a gangster if you see one?"she laughs."so how was your first date with Mr Perfect."

"It was nice,he was such a gentleman,he took good care of me."she gasps."He was annoying at first always talking about that night at the bar but I expressed my displeasure and he stopped,but he never stops teasing me about it,I have gotten used to it now."

"I am happy for you Samantha,you deserve happiness,you should be careful Sam."

"I know Scarlett,you also deserve happiness."she says.

"I am happy Sam,Grace is happy so I am happy."

"Scar you know that's not what I mean,your life does not only revolve around Grace,you have to live your own life also Scar."I use my hand to cover my face."I know Sam,I will try."

"That's my girl"she yells."I will call you later Scar, Philip is back."

  The sun was starting to set and Grace and I had to get home immediately before it gets dark.

"Grace we have to get home now."I shout and she runs up to me."Mama I don't want to go home now."I touch her head."Grace we have to leave now,Grace so you won't be to tired to go to school tomorrow.do you understand."

"Yes mum."

My phone buzzing in my pocket brings me out of my reverie and I answer it.

"Hello"

"This is Simone."my heart start beating rapidly."I have spoken to Travis,he agreed,"I smile."Really!"I exclaims.

"Yes Scarlett,you have to come early to work tomorrow.you have lots of work to do,you should bring some few things with you,you will get your work clothes tommorow.till then."
